Swell in Montana

“Gorgeous mountain scenery in the area and a very cozy cabin. If you’re visiting in late June or summer, keep in mind that the surrounding peaks won’t have the same snow-covered look shown in some of the listing photos, as those appear to have been taken in winter or early spring depending on snowfall. The cabin is convenient for restaurants and shopping in Kalispell, but if your primary goal is spending full days in Glacier National Park, expect a fair amount of driving each day. One thing that surprised us was that the property is located a lot closer than we had thought behind a large commercial/industrial area. I wasn’t expecting to see the workers so close from the windows and we heard machinery early in the mornings, although it wasn’t overwhelming since we were usually heading out to explore. The late afternoons and evenings were much quieter and peaceful, and we enjoyed relaxing on the porch by the ponds and watching the geese. Overall I’d recommend, very nice hosts!”
