“My family’s stay at this home was a five star because of the spectacular view from the living room and the outdoor deck. Making all the little flaws minor. Yes the house is a little funky and in need of some repairs but the overall feeling and experience we had was worth it all!!”

“First, the positives- the location was just what we needed, and the view was absolutely stunning. Absolutely love the main floor of the house with the wall to wall windows. Full kitchen was super convenient, and the upstairs bathroom has been finished nicely. Firepit down by the lake was fun. Hosts were super responsive. Not so great- this was a pretty frustrating stay for a lot of reasons. First, there is one tiny unmarked parking spot for a SMALL car, and no pathway down the steep hill full of mole holes to the cabin. Watch your step! The bedrooms are downstairs in a very musty smelling basement, which aggravated my allergies. The wall at the bottom of the stairs leaks when it rains, so we had puddles to step over every day. The screen doors either didn't work or were torn, so we couldn't get fresh air. I was woken up nightly by the sound of critters walking and scratching inside the walls. We didn't have enough towels, no sheets for sofa bed. For what we paid, I was expecting more.”
