Grand Welcome Lake of the Ozarks in Rocky Mount, Missouri

“We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this house! The outdoor area and dock were easily one of the highlights. The house sits in an awesome cove that was perfect for swimming, relaxing, boating, and just hanging out together as a family. The house itself was very homey, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Having a Blackstone available to cook on was a great bonus and made meals outside even more enjoyable. The kids absolutely loved the diving board on the dock and spent hours in the water. The dock setup was also great for bringing our boat, which made getting out on the lake incredibly easy. Overall, it was a wonderful place for a family lake getaway. Great house, great cove, awesome outdoor space, and lots of fun memories made. We would definitely stay here again!”

“We had six adults and 3 children in our group. There was plenty of room for all of us. The dining room table was big enough for all and the spacious and shaded deck was perfect for hanging out and enjoying the view of the lake. There were plenty of linens and we had everything we needed to make meals and clean up afterwards. We enjoyed floating off the dock and paddling around in one of the kayaks. We also enjoyed the firepit and the hot tub! There was adequate parking for four vehicles. We would recommend this A-frame cabin as a peaceful, scenic getaway.”

“Unfortunately I was disappointed with our experience. I had booked for my family of six, we also had my parents, grandma, and nephew staying with us as well. I had figured my husband and I would take the master bedroom in the basement so our 2 younger children could sleep down there on the couch and be in our room- upon ariving we realized there was no longer a couch down stairs. I also had thought there was 2 living room areas but then realized a photo from the loft was misplaced in the photos of the house leading me to think it was part of the house. It listed there were 5 beds, but there are only 3 literal bed on the property. The rest is just uncomfortable furniture. We have stayed at many places at the Lake and honestly I had wished I had chose different. It felt pricey for what it was and the photos were a different vibe then what we realized when we arrived. Also there is a spiral staircase which is not photographed. Overall the layout was not what I expected.”

The dock was exceptional the kids had a great time playing with all the water toys you had there and the adults enjoyed the couch reclining loungers. The location was so nice and quiet except for the wave runners occasionally but nothing too bad. Just an amazing vacation.”
