“This is a nicely located condo. The resort has a lot of units. It feels nice and quiet when you are in the unit, but once you step out to the front it's quite a few condos and cars. It's an older property, but well maintained. We loved the condo itself--spacious for the amount of people it slept. It felt like a real cabin. It is definitely not someone's home--the only thing to cook with is salt and pepper; plan to bring anything else. We brought our boat and parked it at the dock; though the office did not have us down for this--so verify this when you reserve. We were able to get a spot, no problem. We loved being able to play pickle ball and walk to Zorbaz. We had a great time. We would definitely stay here again.”

“The cabin is located in a beautiful area. The cabin was clean but could use some updates. We had to have the grill replaced because it was old and a fire hazard. The biggest gripe is that there were numerous steps (too many) to get down and up from the cabin, which we were not aware of. Difficult for a senior citizen. The owners should state this in their information. The hosts were very quick to respond to our questions, so that was great!”

“My family and I (four women) stayed in Unit 22 for a long weekend visiting other family at the lake. Our check-in was smooth and our hosts were helpful. It looked like the unit hadn't had much use due to leaf litter and tree limbs on the path to the entrance. The smell of mildew greeted us at the door of the unit. There we discovered an empty, covered hot tub in the sunroom (a hot tub was not listed as a feature of the rental). We closed off the doors to the sunporch and it helped to keep the smell down. The unit, while very clean, looked like it had not been used in a while. The kitchen sink area had a strong, disgusting odor. The water pressure in the upstairs bathroom was so poor that all four of us chose to shower in the main floor bathroom. The mattress on the upstairs pull-out couch was stained, had holes and was uncomfortable. If we were planning to be there longer or be in the unit more during the time we were there, we would have requested to be moved to another unit.”

“We enjoyed our stay at The Causeway on Gull. We arrived after the office closed, but the check-in instructions were easy to follow and everything went smooth. The unit we were in was spacious and clean. It is a bit outdated and there were a few things that could use an update. There was a fairly strong musty smell in the unit that took some getting used to. It seemed like a known issue as there was some sort of air purifier in the sun room where the (non-functional) hot tub is located. This did not impact our stay, however. We would not hesitate to stay in this unit again. One quirky thing to note is that you are not assigned a unit number when you book. Instead, a unit is assigned when you arrive.... or some time before then. You don't actually know which one it will be until you are there. This isn't a huge deal, hut worth noting. The pool area is great. Lots of wildlife in the woods. We got a boat slip for free and it was very convenient to use. Very walkable and cool trails”

“This home was very comfortable and had easy access to everything we wanted to do in the area. We did rent a golf cart, which made it easy to get around. Great pools, pickleball courts, game rooms, etc. Staff was fantastic!”
