Place was easy to get to and just outside of St. Joseph’s and everything was within a 5-10 min driving distance to the town for the beach and local shops. Silver beach was amazing for us and the kids! St Joseph’s is definitely a very kid friendly neighborhood with lots for them to do and the food in town was awesome! Would recommend Silver Beach Pizza, Thorton’s Diner, and also Buck Burger to just name some. The Airbnb felt very cozy for the family and very kid friendly especially if you have little ones, it also had a community pool which the kids really enjoyed. Would recommend!

The condo is clean, downtown location as advertised, but the description was lacking key details. For example, renters ought to know that the outside door does not say “212”, making it hard to find. Furthermore, upon entering the outside door, there are very steep steps that are difficult for older folks and young children (circa 17 steps). Our bedsheets were musty smelling, so we had to wash before using - but I’m sure that will be fixed for the next renters. Lastly, parking in St Joseph is challenging. Spots are limited and there are timing restrictions. For a similar price, there are better options in similar beach towns with easier entry and parking.

From the moment we arrived, we could tell the home was exactly as described. It was spacious, incredibly clean, and warm and inviting. All of the amenities listed were provided, and the home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to call home while on vacation with our family!

Great location - you can walk to all of the shops and to the beach. You never really need to move your car (if you can find free parking nearby, which was sometimes a challenge on a busy weekend). Check-in instructions could be clearer as there are multiple door codes. As someone else mentioned the 2nd bedroom skylight is right in your face and there's not a way to block it. It was very well stocked which was nice - plenty of toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, soap, etc. We did have a pretty major issue with ants getting into our food but the host had multiple bottles of ant spray, so I'm assuming that's not a first. Just make sure all food is locked up tight!
