“We feel so lucky that this incredible house was available when moving my daughter into MTU! The interior is sooo charming and very well taken care of. The bedrooms were so perfectly stocked with comfortable mattresses, sheets and plenty of pillows. The loft was my son’s favorite place to sleep and the master bedroom has amazing views of Lake Superior where you can crack the window open and hear the waves crashing on the rocks all night! The back deck and stairs down to the water were our favorite spot. It truly is a gem of a place and I’m just sad that we were not able to enjoy it longer! Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful home. Hoping to be able to stay here for future visits ❤️”

“Another peaceful and great stay! I will be back! I use Indian River as a central home base for exploring day trips into northern lower Michigan and the UP. I give 4.5 stars to this specific room. 1/2 point docked for 1) the microwave and dishes are WAY too high. 'm 5.5 and on my tip toes couldn't reach them safely. 2) there are several places of peeled paint on a few walls, and 3) the price fluctuates a lot making cost value variable. The kitchen, couch and tables are great additions. Again, very clean! I would recommend anytime. They are so flexible and easy to work with. This visit, it was quite busy, but it was still quiet and everyone was respectful. I like that it's not in the middle of town, so it's not as busy, but, be aware, it is really close to the freeway, so there is some road noise, though I wear ear plugs so that doesn't bother me in the least. Thanks again!”
