“The stay was great. 7 of us fit in there quite comfortably and everything was fairly updated. The location is walkable to downtown Douglas and a short drive to most of the amenities in the Saugatuck/Douglas area. Backs up to the interstate but noise wasn’t a problem. Would stay here again!”

“We loved our week-long stay at The Birdcage! It was perfect for our family with two small kids and a nanny traveling with us. We liked being so close to Douglas and a short drive to downtown Saugatuck. The house was very clean and well decorated. We had to move a few things to protect the toddlers, but appreciated the variety of objects and artwork. The kitchen was well-appointed and easy to use. The yard was lovely and shady in the afternoons. Beds are comfortable and there was plenty of space for all of us. The highway noise mentioned in other reviews did not bother us at all. We would definitely stay here again!”

“The home was perfect for our family gathering. We especially enjoyed the wooded back yard, screened porch, hot tub, and fire pit. The kitchen was well appointed, so that we could easily prepare meals when we wanted to; everything was in good working order. Beach towels were provided, too.”

“We had a great experience at this house. We were a group of 4 families and we had a lot of fun with our kids thanks to all the games and beautiful surroundings. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the tools you can image and the house was in a pristine state. We are for sure coming back to this house if we are going back to this area.”
