“Overall an okay stay & experience. Some things we enjoyed was the large private property & the hot tub. There was a lot of space overall & we loved the big kitchen. We were not informed about the long gravel driveway that was steep & uneven in some parts. My friend has a sedan & was not able to make it up the driveway & had to walk all the way up- luckily our other car was an suv & had an off road feature so it made it up. Showers- very low water pressure & only 1 had hot water. I do not recommend booking through airbnb & maybe not even the brown county cabin website because it was very unclear as to what would vs. wouldn't be provided. We were told to refer to our listing to check specific things provided but they were not listed. Also, we weren't given the exact address till an hour or 2 before check in when we were an hour drive away and told there was no service out there and need to download the map. Overall multiple things were not clear. Lastly, the toilet paper was paper thin.”

“The house is absolutely beautiful with high ceilings, lovely decor with inspirational quotes and it is very open, not cluttered. We knew it was a home without a washer/dryer and without essentials but we were told we would have a starter roll of paper towels and toilet paper. We couldn’t find any paper towels or napkins to start us off and not even a rag or sponge to wash the dishes. I think this is too minimal for the price. The air hockey table and chess game were nice additions. The check out rules were fine except for having to put dishes back where they were found. Usually you just have to run the dishwasher when you leave. It means you have to hand wash the morning dishes because there is not enough time to run the dishwasher and put away before check out. I can confirm the driveway truly is extremely steep. Make sure you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Even with my husband’s Yukon the car worked hard to get all my son’s move in stuff up the hill.”

“Our stay was great. The host was very responsive & helpful. Even sent maintenance on a Sat morning when the tv quit & they immediately replaced it. Had a great time just enjoying the huge yard & peaceful environment. The gravel lane is a little rough, definitely recommend a 4x4 if you can but my Chrysler mini van made it ok multiple times. Highly recommend this stay- would definitely stay again”

“My guys traveling for work typically are very picky about where they stay. In this case, they immediately asked that they come back to this location next week. They really enjoyed it. The location is peaceful and easy to get to. Note that you may have a challenge if you have a trailer getting down the drive though.”

“The loft was cute and cozy, I felt like a Disney princess, went to sleep to frogs and woke up to birds, lol. Amazing, beautiful, peaceful...I will be back. Definitely a couples getaway!! Bloomington near by...All the food, and entertainment...”
