“We very much enjoyed our stay. Our blended families were about to hang out up stairs together and then get a reset when going to the apartment downstairs (no indoor staircase). The kitchen was great for cooking and hanging out as well as the porch. Also super close beach access. We had a plumbing snafu on Thanksgiving day and Christie had a plumber come out very quickly to fix the issue. We appreciated her swift action.”

“The Turtle Nest worked well for our girls weekend. Everyone was able to have their own bed and room. Bunk beds a little tough for an adult but we made it work. Having four bathrooms was very helpful. Great supply of chairs and towels for the beach. Super close to the beach. Helpful wagon available to take everything to the beach.”

“Location is absolutely perfect for short walks to dinner and bars or 1 min walk to the beach. House has everything you need for cooking in and kitchen is large enough for a group to cook in. Picnic table on the porch is perfect for outdoor dinning. House had plenty of beach gear for our group of 7. Worked out well for us but the 2 bedrooms downstairs aren’t accessible to the upstairs without going outside.”

“Great location! Steps to the beach and restaurants. Host was very responsive and home has all the amenities you need for the beach. We had an issue and host resolved it promptly. Great hosts, great location. House is split — basement has two bedrooms and no access to upstairs without going outside. All in all, we had a lovely time with our six children.”

“Loved our stay at The Turtle Nest! The cottage is perfectly cozy & charming - a great fit for our family. Plenty of space to meet our needs. Great location with the beach & restaurants only a short walk away. The driveway is perfect for more than one car & out of the way of public parking. Our vacation on Tybee Island was so relaxing & peaceful - this home was a big part of that. Totally recommend this to anyone needing a place to get away.”
