“We had a great multi-generational family birthday trip to "View from the Canoe". Plenty of space over 3 floors to spread out and exactly like the photos! Great screened in porch area on the main floor and a nice covered deck below. It's VERY wooded and peaceful and on a cul-de-sac but not too far from the amenities in the community. Luckily there was plenty of indoor entertainment at the house since we did have one full day of rain. The kitchen is well stocked to cook meals with plenty of space to sit everyone for a meal either inside or out. We saw a few deer out front and also bald eagles on our boat day on Lake Petit! Enjoyed our visit to the Fainting Goat winery and the Old Mulehouse for dinner. The beach club, rock slide and pool day was a highlight too!”

“The home is simply stunning on the inside. So much so, that my mom and sister asked me to reach out to the owner through the app to ask where some the furnishings came from. :) The house was wonderful, the area is gorgeous, the host was super responsive when we had questions, including on restaurant suggestions. It rained a large portion of while we were there, so we appreciated all the games they had. I was with a group (all family) of 8 and would stay here again! The only recommendation (and this doesn’t take away from the 5 star rating, I know it’s minor) is if you’re a coffee drinker, BYO. They have a coffee pot and keurig (as seen in a couple of their pictures), but they do not stock coffee like most other places. Overall, great experience!”

“Great host, very responsive and friendly, communication was very helpful! Home itself could use a few reasonable updates. The photos seemed to be outdated, the home is more worn than shown. Had a few problems with the showers draining and getting the patio lights to work but the host was always available to help and respectful of our space. Home was fairly clean although some areas seemed to be completely untouched from the build up of dust and cobwebs. The area is great though, Amicalola Falls and the Butterfly Farm are amazing, definitely a sight to see! Despite the minor things, we truly enjoyed ourselves here and appreciate you guys for hosting us!”
