We enjoyed the extra space as a family with four teenagers. The neighborhood is very friendly and peaceful. It’s a bit of a juggling act to get to the golf cart and bikes each time you want to use them with such a tight space in the driveway and carport, but it was great to have them! Everything was clean and comfortable. We went before the prices, crowds and heat were high so it was perfect porch sitting weather and plenty of space at the nearby beach. I’m not sure how it would be after Memorial Day but early May was perfect for us.

We loved staying at this house! We stayed with four couples and each had our own room and bathroom. Spacious living room and outdoor space as well as a large kitchen. Home had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed using the bikes and very close public beach access. Not a far bike ride to Seaside and other fun restaurants!

This place was amazing. Perfect for our family vacay. Spacious downstairs, beautiful kitchen and lovely bedrooms all upstairs. We really loved the location and having the golf cart and bikes were perfect. We will be back!

1-Star Review – 50 Salamander Circle, Santa Rosa Beach We paid $3,500 for 5 nights expecting a premium stay with a “Superhost.” Instead, the upstairs A/C never worked properly. Temps hit 78°F with high humidity starting Day 1. Repair didn’t happen until late Day 2, and the tech returned at 9PM using a blow torch indoors—fumes filled the space (we have an asthmatic child). We were told it was fixed. It wasn’t. By Day 3, A/C still failed. The host refused further service, saying nothing would “please us.” Days 4–5 were only tolerable due to cooler weather—not a fix. The heated pool also didn’t work, which disappointed our child. We documented temps nightly. The host told Airbnb it was only a 1-day issue and offered $300. Airbnb later gave ~30% off the base rate. Expect them to downplay this. Reality: A/C never fixed, issues ignored. Avoid. For the price, this was completely unacceptable. Poor management and zero accountability when it mattered most.

This home is very clean, spacious, conveniently located to all our favorite places. It’s a beautiful home! We loved that it came with some beach chairs, 4 bikes, & seating area on the back deck. It’s off the loud, busy path of 30a but yet close enough to get to everything including a short walk to the beach. We have been coming to 30A every year for the past 22 years & it’s bittersweet how busy and crowded it’s become. We forgot that Easter weekend may co-inside with Spring breaks & traffic & teens everywhere made it a challenging trip. Along with that frustration is some pricing of rental homes in the area. While this home is for sure worthy of renting due to it’s location, space, cleanliness, pet allowance & prompt attention from the host, it lacks a private pool, a more luxuriously stocked kitchen, bathroom soaps & kitchen spices. These are all things that would warrant the price of booking that we paid for 3 nights. It’s the most expensive rental we’ve ever booked on 30A.
