“Despite a difficult start, we ultimately enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean, charming, nicely decorated, and peaceful. Before arrival, we were notified of a sewage backup from the neighboring unit. The sewage was contained in the shower, but the odor throughout the unit was very strong and unpleasant. Since we arrived after 9 p.m., we had to drive off the island to buy Lysol and other supplies. We were told no one would come to clean that evening and that we would have to wait until morning. When no one followed up the next morning, we made several unsuccessful attempts to reach someone. Only after documenting the issue through Airbnb did we receive confirmation that someone was there to clean. Once resolved, we enjoyed the rest of our stay. Future guests should know that coffee, filters, sugar, and other coffee supplies were not provided, so bring your own. Overall, a lovely little unit, but better communication and follow-through would have made a big difference.”

“It was a perfect space for two people”

“The space was more like a hotel room than a true studio apartment. It included a bed, bathroom, small refrigerator, and a patio table, but did not have the amenities I typically associate with a studio. One inconvenience was the checkout requirement to wash dishes, as the only place to do so was the bathroom sink, which felt awkward and impractical. The property is managed by a company rather than an individual host, and the communication was excessive. I received 10 messages and a phone call within a 48-hour period, which felt overwhelming and unnecessary. The parking was a problem for everyone to grasp, perhaps signage or markers would be beneficial. I had someone parked in front of me upon departing and had to wait for them to move their vehicle. Close to private beach!”

“Excellent direct ocean and beach views and access. Complex provided reclining beach chairs and umbrellas. Very nice landscape. Unit was as described but had a few issue to note: 1. Bring your toiletries for sure 2. Bring dish washing soap and laundry detergent. Management had not left dish washing soap. 3. Bring garbage bags for the week. Only one provided. 4. Bring pillows. Units pillows firm and only one for each person 5. TVs provided local cable with possibility to sign in to accounts such as Netflix, Amazon, etc. Had to reconfigure HMDI cable to watch anything worthwhile 6. Floors and counters were covered with sand. Mgmt quickly had their cleaning crew clean the floors and counters again. 7. Parking pass was not left by Mgmt. Had to call and text four times to have one dropped off. Finally dropped off around 4pm. 8. Assigned parking space under a tree which was shedding seed pods and leaves. Landscape sprinklers left a white film on car which we had to clean several times.”

“Very clean. Great private beach. Nice quiet area. Outside shower head to rinse off and hose was great for sand. Wifi was spotty. Was expected to troubleshoot the issue on our own. Ended up using a hotspot. The AC unit could only be set to 72 and had a hard time keeping up so we were pretty hot at times. Despite those issues I would stay again”
