Destination Amelia in Nassau County, Florida

“Unit was clean and had wonderful views. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen well supplied. Unfortunately the A/C units were not functioning properly and as a result the rooms were stuffy and warm, making sleep difficult and uncomfortable. Destination Amelia was contacted and sent a general maintenance person who effectively did nothing and reported that the A/C units were functioning fine and were just unable to handle the Florida heat (even at night when temperatures are much lower??). Funny that millions of people live in Florida with A/C units that can clearly cope with heat but an upscale condo does not have such A/C units. More likely Destination Amelia couldnt be bothered to get a proper A/C specialist to look into the problem and didn’t care that we were uncomfortable for our entire 3 night stay. Very disappointing and unprofessional. We would not have set them again as a host”

“This was truly the perfect beach rental for our family vacation! The ocean view is incredible, the pool was perfect, and the location couldn't be better. The rental had a full kitchen, beach towels/gear, and wash/dryer - which are essential for a week at the beach. The hosts were responsive and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a seamless stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dreamy beach escape!”
