“We stayed at Kara’s home in Marco Island for a family wedding and overall had a great trip. The highlight was definitely the outdoor space—the pool, lanai, and beautiful water view made for a relaxing stay. The neighborhood is quiet, and the location is perfect—close to everything on the island. The home was clean, though a bit outdated, but in such a pricey area it felt like an affordable option. Kara was a great host—very communicative and provided lots of helpful information about the area. The biggest downside was the beds. Despite mentions of new mattresses, they were extremely firm, and most bed frames (besides the twin room) were very noisy. The lighting was also a bit dim, and while the listing included beach chairs, there were only 2 for a home that sleeps 8. A cooler was provided, which was nice. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay thanks to the location, outdoor space, and responsive host. With more comfortable mattresses and a few updates, we would consider staying again.”
