“Good value for the number of rooms/bathrooms, and a beautiful dock. Unfortunately no one in our party wanted to sleep in the master suite due to winged termite swarms and stairs that a little unsafe for young children or older adults. We expect bugs, it was just hundreds of termite wings completely covering the interior perimeter that left us uneasy. The hosts did clean it up during our stay, but the next day we saw more. Jacuzzi was also dirty after using it. I think the home is just very old so not much that can be done but based on the photos and description, I did expect better and wanted others to be aware”

There is construction happening next door, which is outside the property’s control, but worth noting for future guests. Overall, the home and its location matched the description perfectly. “This place saved our family vacation. We had to vacate our previous rental for health reasons and we were able to quickly move into this house with extremely short notice. We would have been pleased with a clean stay but this home had everything we needed and more. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, the bathrooms are fully stocked and clean. The pool was large and warm, the dock was beautiful at night. Overall this had everything we needed and we would absolutely stay again. The only minor issues we had were responded to quickly and addressed immediately. Great house, great service.”
