“Overall, we enjoyed our stay! The home was comfortable and a great place for our group to spend time together. This would have been a five-star experience if not for the refrigerator issue. The fridge stopped cooling, leaving us without a working full-size refrigerator for about two days. Food we purchased spoiled and had to be thrown away. We explained that we had nine people to feed, so replacing those groceries added an unexpected expense. We appreciated the host providing a temporary mini fridge and having the main refrigerator repaired before our stay ended. We did not expect full reimbursement for the spoiled food, but a small gesture, such as a grocery gift card to help replace some of it, would have meant a lot. Despite the inconvenience, we enjoyed the property and appreciated the repair. A little extra consideration would have made this a solid five-star stay. We would still recommend this host and this house.”
