“Overall, our stay was okay, but there were a few issues that affected our experience. The floors did not seem to have been cleaned thoroughly, as several areas felt sticky. The third bedroom, which appeared to be an addition to the home, was noticeably warmer than the rest of the house. Although it had a wall-mounted cooling unit, it did not seem to be functioning properly, making the room uncomfortable. We also arrived to find that there were no towels provided. Since it was late, I reached out to the host, who was very responsive and apologetic. He arranged for someone to drop off towels first thing the following morning, which we appreciated. The host’s communication was excellent, but the cleanliness, cooling issues, and missing essentials kept this from being a better experience. With a few improvements, this could be a much more comfortable stay.”
