“Beautiful, high-end home in an incredible golf course setting with amazing views. The house is massive, tastefully decorated, and very well appointed. We had a fantastic stay overall. The only drawback during our stay was that there is no true air conditioning. We visited in mid-June with temperatures in the mid-90s, and the portable cooling units and fans were not enough to keep the home comfortable. Indoor temperatures during the day ranged from about 79–86 degrees. To their credit, management was responsive and tried to help, but for a property at this price point, I believe air conditioning or mini-splits are needed. Overall, a wonderful property that would be close to perfect with better cooling.”

“Our family of 18 stayed at Star Mountain Lodge and had the best time! They don’t allow big weddings but they did give us permission to do a small family ceremony on the property and we are so glad they did because it was everything we hoped it would be! The house was the perfect size and there was something for everyone from the teenagers to the grandparents. Lots of fun amenities! And just a gorgeous home! They had everything we might need ready to go from the space heaters to fans to the wide variety of serving pieces/dishes for the kitchen! We couldn’t ask for more! The Hosting from the Heart team was beyond responsive! Most of the time, we got an immediate response! They gave us great recommendations on local businesses to use as a caterer and bakery as well as some other ideas of fun things to do in the area. I hope to stay at another one of their properties again someday! Thank you for a special and memorable stay!”

“Our stay at Tina’s place was amazing! It was so beautiful and so relaxing that it was difficult to leave. The home is pristine and the views are fabulous. Our host checked in the first couple of days to make sure everything was going well. We felt so welcome. The home was well stocked from the kitchen to the bathrooms and she even left treats and a bowl for our dog who was traveling with us. I really can’t say enough to express how much we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!”
