Sky High Cabins in Twentynine Palms, California

“The house was in a perfect location to enter Joshua Tree NP from 2 different gates. It is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood with easy access to markets and restaurants in Twentynine Palms and Joshua Tree. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was reasonably well stocked. We appreciated having laundry and detergent available. The host was super friendly and responsive. The backyard was beautiful. We were disappointed to not be able to use it every afternoon when we returned from hiking because there were no shade sails provided (though shades were included in the listing photos). We specifically booked a place with a backyard to accommodate 3 teenagers but the lack of shade made use of it impossible until very late in the day. It was incredibly disappointing given that we would have enjoyed 3 full afternoons in the beautiful yard. Beds were - meh. Thick foam mattresses. Two of us who shared the king (like every night) kept finding ourselves rolling into the middle.”

“The house was overall great. The kitchen could use a few more basic essentials and we noticed the outdoor trash area needed attention upon arrival. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay! It was very spacious and the backyard fireplace area was a favorite.”
