“This was a great place to stay for our hike up Half Dome. The house is in a perfect location relative to the valley. Exceptionally well appointed, making for the perfect place to get plenty of rest both before and after your adventure. I can’t recommend it enough!!”

“John was a perfect host. Extremely quickly responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with. We spent a weekend at the place and loved every minute of it. The location is extremely convenient for any hikes in Yosemite. 10/10, would come back again.”

“The house is great and the location is really helpful. You are already in Yosemite park so you never have to wait in the long line of traffic. Also only 30 minutes from most of the hikes you would want to do. Home was very clean, well stocked with towels and nice kitchen supplies/cookware. I would give these place a 3.5 star rating. Few things we did not like about the home. First, they shut the AC off on our day or arrival. It’s 90+ degrees out and when we arrived it was 78 inside the home. I get that you want to save $35 worth of electricity, but not having a nice cool home to arrive in July isn’t ideal. The second main issue is that there are no blinds or curtains at the top floor where the kitchen and living room are located. Both rooms are difficult to be in between 4-8pm. The house has huge windows in the rear directly facing west.”

“Excellent place inside Yosemite National Park. The house has everything you need to enjoy with family or friends. Maybe it's a little bit expensive, but it's worth it. Thanks, John, for everything. We love your welcome basket and your recommendations. We enjoy cooking our meals at home, even the sandwiches and snacks. The next time we book, we will book more days! We love the house, the park, the views, and most of all our family time in this precious home.”
