“The Pine Lantern was as advertised. It was a clean, quaint home in a pretty private location for the Tahoe area. Instructions were clear on how to get in and the host was responsive. The only thing that would make this stay a 5* is if it had all the qualities listed and slightly closer to more amenities. All in all, enjoyed the stay and would stay again.”

“Very nice and peaceful stay. Close to all the hotspots but also secluded enough to provide lots of privacy. We had an issue with the light in the living room not working but the host was quick to reply and fix it in a timely manner! Would highly recommend this place to friends and family looking for a quiet vacation!”

“Great place for the price and very friendly and communicative host! The cleaning crew had forgotten to leave us (group of 4) with toilet paper for our 2 day stay, and the host dropped off a bunch of toilet paper within a couple hours! Very much appreciated. The only thing that was lacking was AC! That would take this spot from a 4 to a 5, but it is disclosed on the listing. We just picked a hot weekend to travel to Tahoe. We were very grateful for all the fans the host provided! Great host!”

“We’ve stayed in quite a few Airbnbs over the years, and this was easily one of the best. Before booking, we noticed a few reviews mentioning a lack of essentials, so we packed extra. It turns out we didn’t need any of it. This was by far the best stocked Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. From aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and storage bags to a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of cookware, dishes, mugs, and glassware, the hosts truly thought of everything. You could honestly show up with just your clothes and be completely comfortable. After a 10 hour drive from Southern California, arriving around 11 p.m., we were relieved to walk into a spotless, cozy cabin that immediately felt like home. The property was perfect for our family of four. Our favorite surprise was the backyard clubhouse, which wasn’t even something we noticed when booking. Our two boys absolutely loved it and spent hours reading and playing there. Between the clubhouse, barbecue, and hot tub, it really feels like a home”
