Wander in Santa Rosa, California

“Beautiful home and property. Felt like we were an art installation. Relaxing. Would stay again. We love the Santa Rosa area and this was a great base for a great weekend.”

“This former architectural show home itself is magnificent, though somewhat quirky and showed its age during our 14 day stay. During and after Wander was exceedingly responsive. Pros: Fantastic mountain views, wildlife and tranquility. Beds are extremely comfortable. Neighborhood is silent at night and safe. Cons: The second floor is several degrees warmer (due to expansive windows) than the first. The central air is extremely effective on the first floor, while 3 of 4 mini-splits and a portable a/c unit help cool the second. The bedrooms vary: the upstairs master is luxurious and large, while the first floor bedrooms range from adequate to spartan. There are two full baths in theory, but the small downstairs bath is in some disrepair and the even smaller half-bath is more European hostel style. We had a great time in this home and Wander allayed most of our concerns. The home needs some repair and a re-setting of furnishings prior but I would recommend it and Wander to a friend.”

“A cool eclectic house. Spacious and great view. Interesting lay out. Shared with another family, and an additional hang out lounge and young teen games/ game table would've been helpful. Also some extra blankets for on the couch would've made it a bit cozier. Im sure it's cool when the hot tub is working, but we knew it was out of order.”
