“We enjoyed our stay at Mission Sands. Views are gorgeous, the house was clean, beds were comfy, and having a garage is a plus since parking nearby is crazy. A few things to know before booking: Stairs: Lots of them, across the 2nd and 3rd floors (entrances on both). The elevator runs from the garage to the 3rd floor only, so heavy luggage means hauling it up stairs to reach the 2nd. Noise: Right behind the park and next to the parking lot. All bedrooms face the lot. Dated: Cracked tiles, scuffed cabinets, both dishwasher racks broken, bathroom door handle comes off. Windows are very dirty and none open (repair notices posted). Bare-bones: No coffee, sugar, or spices. Grocery delivery is offered and recommended. We made a quick Sprouts run instead. Great for the views and a clean, comfy place to land. Just pack accordingly!”

“The location, communication, and amenities were all 5 star. The actual Airbnb was great. Totally recommend and I think we just got unlucky. I’m giving this place 1 star because our whole 2nd night of our 2 night stay was a literal nightmare. The unit next to us threw a party with ton of people starting about 8pm and went all night into after 5am in the morning. Yelling and screaming until dawn, (methhead level), pounding on the walls. The units have 2 levels and they were out on both, until the sun came up. Tons of cigarette and marijuana smoke. The unit says no smoking and quiet hours are from 10p to 8a. This was insane, and scary, the yelling and fighting kept all of up all night. We asked them to tone it down, we call the police. Overall though, it ruined half our stay. We reach out to owners, and received an obvious canned AI generated reply saying sorry, thanks for letting us know. For $300 a night this was unacceptable. Stay at your own risk.”
