“Great spot for exploring Mendocino, just a couple minutes drive from the heart of town. Also super easy to get to Jackson Demo Forest if you’re in town for the incredible mountain biking, just ten minutes down the road in the other direction. Cozy place down a quiet side road, nestled in the trees. We had deer in the yard every day. Everything was clean and felt new and fresh and well stocked.”

“We really enjoyed our stay and believe the place is even prettier in person. The house was super comfortable for my family, including two dogs and a 1 year old. All instructions were clear and easy to follow. We loved the location, it’s only a short drive into town but tucked between the trees to feel peaceful and private. We’d definitely stay again.”

The property grounds were absolutely gorgeous, pristine, and felt like a perfectly secluded paradise nestled among the breathtaking redwoods. The unit itself was sparkling clean and every bit as lovely as pictured. We also loved how incredibly comfortable the bed was, and the heated toilet seat was such a cozy, thoughtful touch! The location couldn't have been more perfect. We had the best time exploring picturesque Mendocino Village, hiking the beautiful headland trails and the Russian Gulch waterfall, and catching a truly amazing sunset from the historic Pudding Creek Trestle in Fort Bragg. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Mendocino and will absolutely choose the charming "Green Tree Cottage In The Redwoods" again. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!”

“We had a fantastic stay at Green Tree Cottage. The cottage is very conveniently located (a short drive to the town of Mendocino) and is cozy, pristine, and newly furnished with great amenities (cold/hot water dispenser and the Toto bidet were standouts!) The bed was very comfortable and felt luxurious. We accidentally locked ourselves out one morning and they were very responsive and promptly sent someone to assist. We also ran into the owners of the cottage who asked how our stay was and also introduced us to their very friendly dog. We would absolutely stay here again!”
