“We visit Carlsbad yearly and this place is now one of our favorites! Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We liked having the outdoor shower in the backyard for rinsing off sand. We have four kids so I always like to know what beach toys and supplies a place has while searching for places to stay. I can’t remember right now what is stated on this page, but they had one umbrella, lots of beach chairs (around 5), a cooler with a pull handle and two wheels, freezer cubes for the cooler. I will say the toys were low. We brought our own shovels and buckets and our own wagon, they didn’t have those. Oh and no boogie boards so plan accordingly. We would stay again! Walking distance to the beach and a crosswalk that goes right across to some stairs. (Of course the stairs were closed during our stay for rebuilding) They also had plenty of nice beach towels.”
