“What should have been a relaxing getaway turned into a stressful and exhausting experience. The pellet stove malfunctioned while there was an active fire burning inside, requiring us to call the fire department. The fire department stated that the stove was unsafe and had not been properly serviced in a long time. The listing also failed to disclose that a high-clearance vehicle was needed to safely navigate the property. Because we arrived after dark, we did not realize this until checkout, when our sedan became stuck on a gravel hill on the property for nearly two hours, forcing us to dig it out by hand. The master shower leaked badly and flooded the bathroom after every use, requiring significant cleaning. We were offered a 50% refund, which we felt was fair, but only 25% was ultimately provided. When we requested the remaining amount, we were told it would cut too far into profits. For the price, this stay left us more exhausted than when we arrived. We will not return.”

“Such a beautiful cabin! We had the best time with our family enjoying this peaceful space ... the creek out back and hammock were my favorite part. Also, the fireplace was so cozy and the kitchen was stocked. Super comfy beds and everything we wanted for a relaxing weekend in the woods. It was nice being close enough to town but also felt like we were really tucked away in nature. The kids loved stargazing on the deck with the fire going at night. We will definitely be back!”

“We wanted to escape our crazy life and this home and location were perfect! We loved the views and peaceful scenery. We went for quiet walks on nearby trails and when it was warm enough we sat by the beautiful creek/river. Beds were comfortable; kitchen had what we needed to make meals. We highly recommend this place for those who love the outdoors and natural settings. Thanks to the hosts for providing the getaway we needed. We’re excited to stay here again.”
