“While the house and surrounding area do have amazing character, there were a few issues that caused us to check out 3 days early, including a dirty hot tub, a unclean grill, dusty dishes in the cabinet, bird poop all over the front entry, a broken faucet on the Japanese soaking tub that leaked 24/7 (which was listed as a “pool” when we booked it), and more. Ultimately, the pictures just didn’t reflect the reality of what we experienced. After two days of trying to make it work, we left early. Again, the stylish, unique home did deliver on some of that one-of-a-kind experience we were looking for, but it could use some help keeping up to its former glory.”
