This rental at its price point left something to be desired. It certain had nice perks, like the beautiful lake view, dual level screened in porches, and having a hassle-free pet policy. However, some of the negatives left a bad taste in our mouth. The house was considered dirty and covered in dust. The floors clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while, the blinds were covered in a layer of dust, there were stains on multiple surfaces, and the refrigerator was filthy. It is evident that they are not devoting enough resources to cleaning. The host was very slow to respond and you have to take it upon yourself to call the management company to get any issue resolved. I would be interested in staying in this community again, but just not at this rental or with this rental company.

I booked this place for my grandmother and her sisters. They had a wonderful trip and loved staying here. It is a beautiful home and they enjoyed walking around the property. Host is very friendly and helpful.

Great place and excellent location, but I was really disappointed with the communication and a few aspects of the stay. The host never responded to either of the messages we sent about checking in. I reached out the day before our arrival, and my daughter sent another message while we were en route during an 11‑hour drive. We just wanted to know whether there was a door code or if someone would be meeting us with a key, but we received no reply to either inquiry. When we arrived, the door was simply unlocked. Since we never received any instructions, we ended up having to leave it unlocked every time we went out, which didn’t feel ideal. On top of that, we found a used dental floss pick between the sheets in the master bedroom. That was unsettling and made us question how thoroughly the space had been cleaned before our stay. The stay itself had potential, but the lack of communication and the cleanliness oversight made the experience more stressful and disappointing than it needed
