Manager Review

Young's Suncoast Vacation Rentals

Young's Suncoast Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.59 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The location had broken toilet handle, AC unit that wasn’t working properly, roaches in the kitchen & cabinets, and black mold growing in the ceiling above where we are supposed to eat in the dining room. I would not recommend staying here to anyone and I feel like we should have gotten a full refund

Beautiful place but terrible guest communication also the lady we had to pick the keys up from at the property management company was rude. We drove all the way to get the keys to access the unit and the keys didn’t even work. Overall poor communication but beautiful condo

Location was great! Unit was as described. Only complaint is that we had to wait past 4:00pm to check in.

I’d never booked this if I had known you couldn’t throw a ball at the pool. I’ve got 3 boys and they love anything sports related. That was a huge downfall. I will avoid HOA associated rentals in the future. Other than that it was alright. Close to the beach and other attractions.

The condo itself was beautiful and matched the photos, and the on-site staff at San Carlos were friendly. The view was nice when it wasn’t obstructed by workers on the property. However, the pool was listed as an amenity at the time of booking, and we were only informed after payment that it would be closed. We were also told multiple times that it would reopen, including that it would open on the 10th during our stay, but it never opened at all. Communication from the host was ultimately inaccurate, which impacted our experience. While a refund was eventually adjusted, it required multiple follow-ups and escalation to reach a fair resolution. I would recommend confirming the status of important amenities in advance, as our experience did not fully align with what was communicated.

Lack of communication between Complex Maintenance, HOA, and Young'S to the renters.

The location is great but the unit needs attention. We got our check in code after the 4PM check in time, only to enter the unit with very wet floors. It had just been mopped and took a while to dry. We also let the property management group know that the DISH network was not working so no TV. They must have not read the message and sent someone to repair the dishwasher the next day. Did not feel like we got the value we paid for unfortunately.

It was dirty, smelly and unhealthy to stay there! We contacted them about the smell of marijuana ingiltrating our balcony and how dirty it was and they didnt seem to care. They refused to refund any of our money and were very inconciderate of the situation. After reading reviews on yelp this seems to be the way they operate and steal peoples money. Very sad that a business is so decietful and unprofessional!!

Work being performed on exterior during our stay was significantly understated in the listing. The entire balcony was unusable, we had to keep our blinds closed throughout our stay due to privacy concerns while the work was performed, and the noise during working hours from grinding, drilling and hammering was ridiculous! The pool was also closed throughout our stay, but at least that was indicated in the property listing - although it was mentioned toward the bottom of the listing description. I strongly feel this unit should not have been listed as available while the exterior work was being performed.

5C was a nice unit. It had some signs of wear, but nothing very bad. The building on the other hand is not. The elevator broke down twice while we were there for only 5 nights. We even had to carry all of our things down 5 flights of stairs to checkout. We were also given two parking passes. We had one truck attached to one small 14 foot aluminum boat. I placed both parking passes on my dash and only used two spots. It was fine until the day we checked out. Then, they had placed a warning on my vehicle saying they would tow or boot the vehicle. Boats are not allowed. You would think with having the elevator break down twice, they could be more helpful. Nope!
