“Steve was a great host—very responsive, friendly, and accommodating! The cabin was nice, comfortable, and peaceful. One of the highlights was the stunning star-filled sky at night. With very little city light around, the stars were absolutely beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Steve’s cabin!”

“We stayed at Steve’s house for four days with our family and kids, and it was a great experience. The location is excellent — quiet, inside the park, and perfect for families of 4–6 people. We arrived when temperatures were close to 100°F, so it was very hot outside. However, after airing out the house in the morning, it stayed surprisingly cool and comfortable throughout the day. Steve also recommended several spots with water pools where the kids had a great time cooling off during the hottest part of the day. The location is very convenient overall, and the drive to Yosemite Valley and other attractions doesn’t take too long. We highly recommend this place. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!”

“We had a great stay. Steve was helpful with the reservation. The house is perfect for 2-4 guests. One bedroom and a pull out couch. We just had 2 and it was a perfect fit.”

“We had a wonderful time staying here! Location is amazing, right inside the southern entrance and only about 15 minutes from Mariposa Grove. We stayed here during the Perseids meteor shower and were able to stargaze right from the back deck. House was clean, looked just like the photos, and Steve was very responsive and friendly. “Along the river cabin was amazing! I would say that it was one of the best cabins in that area location wise. Access to the river in the back was awesome! Cabin was super clean and had everything we needed. We were a party of 6 and each and everyone of us was super super satisfied with what we got. A return trip next year is already on the books. “I have been using Airbnb since the time concept started back in 2010s, it was about sharing your home and meeting people and enjoying their culture, eventually it became a business where people were not at the place they were renting, the recent places we visited were charging for location but were below average for quality of place/service Steve’s place has everything that you expect in a great Airbnb, great location, all amenities that you expect in a good home, including a well equipped kitchen, patio with grill, washer and dryer, small touches like roof heaters in bathroom, PS3 with lots of games, it’s walking distance to near by store and stream for a quick swim, we had a great time coming back to cottage after a hectic day in Yoshemite and made some great memories, it’s a generational house that has been taken care of with love, Thanks Steve for sharing your place with us, hope to return next year”
