World Vacation Homes's guest rating of 4.70 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The house was nice and decently kept. The location wasn’t too far from the big areas like Disney and Universal. The kitchen was poorly stocked, lacking a decent amount of coffee cup and basic cooking equipment like baking sheet. They were eventually delivered but was a hassle . The house provided an air mattress but no linen. I asked for some linen to use I was told no by the host. So useable. Some of the furniture in the home was damaged and one of the toilet was wobbly. Neither were a huge deal but just one more thing to report while on vacation. The wifi was also frequently dropping and another hassle that becomes pretty annoying. Then one day during our stay the pool developed algae. I contact the host again to deal with it. The host did have it addressed the next day but was very dismissive and rude to deal with. The host even suggested my kids just swim in the pool with the algae. Too much time dealing with host to be enjoyable.”airbnb

“First we are from Florida and have both smaller children and older adults. We are used to having an ac temp that fights the humidity. As per the host we were to set temp at comfortable level but they set the therm to not go below 70. Second the whole house was unclean, not enough sheets, front door lock did not work towards end of vacation, there were wholes in the walls, the floorboards were flimsy to the point they moved. Specially in the bedrooms and the stairwell. It felt like I was in a trailer home. The railings were coming off the walls, which my daughter almost fell down the stairs from. Dryer would not dry properly, fridge would not cool properly, over door was not closing properly, smell of mold once we came into the property. Overall the host was not supportive to any of these concerns. The ac issue they stated the tech stated it was 60 coming out the vent but my kids were sweating all night. Airbnb were extremely unhelpful with the matter and would not address my concerns.”airbnb

“Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations due to several issues. While the home was decorated as pictured, the overall cleanliness was disappointing. There were ants in the upstairs bathroom, makeup left on the wall in the master bedroom, used tissue rolls from previous guests, and even old fries left in the air fryer. also a mildew-like smell when we arrived. The trash service that was listed was not provided until the last day air conditioning shut off overnight, making it uncomfortable. We also went two days without internet for the TVs, and even after it was partially restored, only the living room TV worked. Communication with the host was frustrating. Instead of addressing concerns promptly, there was a lot of back-and-forth questioning even after we provided pictures and clearly explained the issues. Additionally, there were several strict house rules that were not clearly presented prior to booking, the location was convenient, and the clubhouse amenities were 10/10”airbnb

“The house was beautiful and spacious. Our family fit very comfortably. There were multiple bathrooms for everyone to use. It was clean and welcoming. The house was in a safe area and the family loved the pool. It had access to homeowners pool area, lazy river, and splash pad. The only negative was that, was not stocked with basic necessities for our stay, like face washcloths, trash bags, toilet paper, or coffee filters.”airbnb

“. Although we had to get our own wash rags and more tissue it was and overall great stay and great location. Also we noticed when leaving the house to come back to the maids or whoever had done enter to get towels that was by the door. Just be aware That’s not supposed to happen once you’re checked in.”airbnb

“The smoke alarm went off one night at 12am-2am and the host wasn’t very helpful at all, it was very loud and a big disturbance to the whole house. We had to take the initiative to remove the batteries since it wouldn’t stop after turning it off. Other than that the place was very nice and clean, I liked the game room as well as the home decor. There were some dishes in the dishwasher that weren’t put away when we arrived so we just decided to hand wash the dishes we used.”airbnb

“Only feedback -As we were travelling from overseas, we did not have access to basic items such as toiletries, tissues, and toilet paper upon arrival. In the future, it may be helpful to offer an optional add-on for international guests, allowing them to request extra supplies in advance for an additional cost.”airbnb
