Wonderful weekend getaway cottage on the Sonoma coast - perfect location for excursions to the many local beaches. Super cozy and well equipped.

The place is nice, and we had a good relaxing week with my gf. It could benefit from more sun in the back and potentially a better set up of the living room.

Great central relaxing place to rest after exploring the nearby towns. Master bed was comfy and the place was updated.

This has been one of our absolute favorite Airbnb stays! The house and the garden are gorgeous and are set up nicely to be able to spread out. The landscape is such that it makes the house very private. We loved everything about the house, it has been redone beautifully and is very cozy and upscale. The bathroom is gorgeous … I want to do my own the same way now! The outdoor yoga room, hot tub, game room, and ping pong table were all very nice amenities. We are going to definitely make this a yearly trip for us! We canoed the Russian River with Burkes canoe trips and the next day got a day pass at Dawns Ranch. Our favorite dining experience was at Boon eat + drink in the downtown area. We didn’t want to leave!!

The house was just as pictured! Beautiful beachy cabin with everything we needed. The location was the winner for us and we had a great stay. Will definitely return again!

We love this house! This is our second year renting and it’s such a great place. The location can’t be beat, and the dock with chairs, umbrella, kayaks makes it the perfect river getaway. Highly recommend!

Stacey was communicative and responsive throughout our messaging, which we appreciated. However, our overall experience regarding flexibility was disappointing. Well in advance of our stay, we requested to reschedule our booking due to active wildfire risks in the area. We were informed that dates would only be changed or canceled if conditions became extremely dangerous closer to the check-in date. We reached out again, even offering to pay an additional fee to move our dates, but our request was declined. While we appreciate the clear communication, it’s a pity hosts lose repeat guests this way, as we would have loved to come back again under better circumstances.

Interesting house in quiet funky neighborhood within in short walking distance to the beach. Plenty roomy with 3 nice bedrooms and great windows, and light and bright, was probably a gem of a house in the 1980's. If you have little ones, the top of the staircase is very open. Kitchen and living room share an open and airy, large space but there is no dining room table or much of an area to put one (although they provide a fold out table and chairs). Bar seating at the kitchen counter only seats 4 people but the house can accommodate many more. Just something to be aware of if you are imagining large family dining. Although speakers were conveniently placed thorughout the house, we could not blue tooth or otherwise connect to any of them. Had everything you need to cook and plenty of storage but kind of a goodwill scavenger hunt to find what you need. Definitley a property managed rental. Didn't regret the stay and enjoyed it but expected nicer for the price. Sauna was awesome though!

We have stayed here before and made it an annual family trip, but this year was very disappointing. The main reason people pay a premium is the riverfront location and direct water access. The dock has now been removed, leaving a steep drop to the river and a sign directing guests to a public beach instead. This material change was not clearly communicated to us as returning guests. Mgmt blamed low water levels, although nearby homes still had docks, and their response felt generic and dismissive. We also noticed mold in the bathrooms. The check-in and checkout process was frustrating: we were not allowed in 30 minutes early, but a car arrived right at 11:00 a.m. to monitor our departure. Signs throughout the house listed constant rules, including not taking beach towels to the beach. Overall, the property feels like it is declining while management focuses on rules, cost-cutting, and maximizing revenue rather than the guest experience. It is no longer worth the premium.
