“Our time was lovely in their peaceful setting. It happened to be quite hot when we arrived. But with the fan and free standing swamp cooler, we were able to get comfortable. This place has been very well created and is a pleasant apt to live for 3 days. It has everything you’d need including a very comfortable bed, couch and seating facing the tv! And a charging station right outside.”

“The Timber Fire in Big Sur meant the writers retreat I was enroute to at Esalen was cancelled mere hours before I would arrive via rental car from LA. I lucked out and found this gem of a place at @wildhairretreats. The Studio turned out to have everything I could need for a self-directed writing and painting retreat - comfy bed, very well appointed kitchen, room for yoga, a collection of great books, and a dining table well suited to water colors. The kitchen is set up with everything you need to make a gourmet meal including many spices, tools and a gas stove. The hosts even provided the fixings for s’mores that I could have made over the fire pit but in a quest to avoid the excess sugar I opted out of all but the graham crackers. If you’re looking for a place to get away for some true quiet and introspection, you can’t go wrong with this place.”

“This is a very special house and perfect for families and groups who want to come together to spend time in a space that has been curated and organized impeccably. Every corner is beautiful, tidy and labeled even to make it easy to navigate while still making it feel cozy and personal. We had small kids and the indoor and outdoor activities were perfect. Not to mention that all of this was a last minute reservation given that another rental fell thru. Hosts were kind and very responsive. We will def come again”

“We enjoyed our stay at the studio. Everything was as described, clean, and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. All of our needs were taken care of. We enjoyed the outside area and peaceful setting- we even saw a owl out hunting on the farm in the evening! This was a nice get away from the bustle of the nearby beach towns, while still being very close to the Arroyo Grande village.”

“We loved our stay at Susie and Tim's place. It is a charming, well designed studio that had everything we needed. It looks just like the photos and is very clean. The location is great - peaceful and quiet but only a short drive to the town. Susie and Tim were wonderful hosts - they checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and also left us a welcome S'mores basket. We would love to stay again the next time we are in the area.”

“This was hands down one of the best Airbnbs I've stayed in. My group and I originally wanted a place closer to the beach, but we ultimately chose Susie and Tim's place because it offered more space to hang out. Even after seeing all the pictures, we were still amazed by how spacious it was, how much there was to do both inside and outside the house, and how beautiful everything was. The backyard was especially a highlight with all its space and activities. It's obvious how much thought and care went into designing this home. Everything was convenient, clean, and well organized, and the guide they provided answered all of our small questions. My group absolutely loved staying here, and we'll definitely be looking to stay again in the coming years.”
