“The location was perfect! Walking distance to the beach, mini-mart, bakery, restaurants, and a local gym. Nice condo in a very quiet neighborhood. Also, we appreciate that our dog was allowed to stay there (with extra fees). This being said, the unit needs some updating. I’m not talking about decor but about general cleanliness. Carpeting upstairs should probably be replaced. Mattresses were floppy. Kitchen not well stocked and could use a knife or two that will actually cut. A deep cleanse should have been provided for a unit that we spent this kind of money on.”

“This one is a must! It is perfect for multifamily trips or just to have extra space. The neighborhood is beautiful and so friendly! It was exactly as described and then some. Loved the fully stocked kitchen, the peaceful deck, and the great sun room.”

“Wonderful spot near beach in a private residence that was clean and well cared for. It was confusing during check in as the unit does not have specific name or number but the company said they would address that. Host is a large retail local group and they communicate outside of AirBnB. Overall great trip and would use this property again”

“We had a fabulous time at this excellent beach house! It was recently renovated, everything was clean, and there were tons of small touches that made it convenient and comfortable. Our family remarked that it was one of the most "welcoming" places we have stayed. It felt like we were sharing a friend's home rather than staying in a rental. For example, there was a much wider range of spices, oils and other cooking basics than most Airbnbs have, there was a closet fell of games and puzzles and another with sports equipment, and the gear for the beach was top-flight: great beach chairs (10 of them!), beach umbrellas, etc. 3-4 min walk to the beach for adults moderately loaded (2 blocks). The beds were very comfy and there was a wide range of pillows. Two bedrooms have private bathrooms. The outdoor shower was great and got hot very quickly--a lovely way to clean off after being at the beach . It's a tall house--four levels--so not suited for individuals with mobility difficulties.”

“Despite the absolute perfect location, our stay managed by Wilgus Associates was extremely disappointing due to a severe hygiene issue, an unauthorized entry, and poor communication. Biohazard & Unusable Room: Upon check-in, the carpeted second bedroom smelled strongly of vomit. The host initially dismissed our concerns. Five days into our stay, the host finally discovered the source: a previous guest had vomited inside the top dresser drawer. The bedroom was unusable for our entire week-long stay. After check-out, the host falsely accused our family of causing the damage. Security Breach: A maintenance worker entered the unit without prior notice or consent while our 15-year-old daughter was asleep inside alone. Host Response: The host consistently denied the issues until third-party vendors confirmed. We lost hours of our vacation managing cleaners & coordinating entries. Airbnb Safety investigated the security incident & issued a partial refund. I do not recommend this property.”

“The location and ammenities were great. We have stayed at Bear Trap Dunes three other times and love it. The individual place we stayed in was nice and spacious. But needed a little of updating....like the shower fixtures at weren't working to the expectation of a shower. We told Wilgus on check out and they said they waould look into it.”
