“Great place for a quiet coastal getaway. Apart from a couple of issues with cleanliness (e.g. floors not being clean, stained towels), it was spacious, comfortable and well stocked. The deck was a lovely space for us and our two young kids. The water view was great. From the photos we thought there was a nice public beach (Anchor beach) just across the road but the water view from the house is not of a beach, and the closest public beach is a 20 minute walk away. About 5 minutes walk away is a stretch of beach that is basically all private (public below the tide line i.e wet sand and only if you don't have to cross the dry sand to get there, which seemed impossible) but we were able to spend an hour or 2 on a quiet stretch there without anyone saying anything and we made sure we were not in front of any of the homes that had a clear section of beach in front of only their property. Overall an enjoyable stay.”
