“Overall I was disappointed with this property. Check in was a complete mess. From mismatched codes main for door/garage entry, to a key box that wouldn't open. It took almost 1 1/2 hrs to access the rental. Standing in a hallway with no restroom to access and bags full of groceries. The only way to communicate with the "hosts" is text. Having them repeatedly explain if I just pushed the buttons harder, or pushed the correct ones this little metal box would miraculously open was to the point of insulting. They eventually sent a 3rd party worker, to assist. Whom informed us, it was broken (a conclusion I had reached about an hour prior) Prior to check in, I had purchased damage coverage through Airbnb. Reading the check in procedure through Vistay they informed me hours prior to check in) they require damage coverage purchased through them directly or a large deposit would be placed on my card. Much more to say but I'm being cut off by limited characters available.”

“Place was a great location. A little more expensive than the others in the area. The only reason it's not 5 stars is 2 things. First is when we got done at the lake we all came home to shower and go to bed. 2 of the beds we remade and the sheets were never changed. Completely disgusting. You could see where they laid, there was hair on the pillows & sheets, and dirt where their feet was. I called and got "We're sorry for the inconvenience and will send a cleaning crew tomorrow". Luckily there were more sheets in a closet. 2ndThe next day after several texts I requested a phone call. They offered a $100 discount(on a $2200 two day stay). I said ok knowing I was going to write an honest review. Then she says "if you can give us 5 stars or just don't submit a review". I think they should have at least waived our cleaning fee. It really was a dark cloud on the whole trip wondering what else wasn't cleaned. We rewashed dishes and towels before we used them. Always pull back the covers ASAP.”

“We had a great time. The only drawback was that we had no control over the thermostat, so we were pretty hot at night. Other than that, it met all of our needs.”

“The place was as advertised. It was conveniently located for us. The rooms were adequate for our stay in Bear Lake. Kids enjoyed watching TV. My family really enjoyed the facilities. The front room offers a great view of the lake. The driveway leaves a lot to be desired. They have a small pile of rocks at the end to prevent someone from cutting the corner into the driveway. We had one in our party not see them and damaged the side of his minivan for about six feet just above the bottom. You’ll also need to bring your own large garbage bags because none were provided.”

“We had issues with this property upon arrival. The code for the door wouldn't work, and Vistay didn't know the correct code. The property was filthy! There were food crumbs on the counters, trim pulling away from the bottom of the cabinet, so dirt and debris was piling up behind the trim, There was what looked like black mold on the back bottom (outside) of the shower. The bedding smelled like it hadn't been washed for over a month. The host (Vistay) for this property shouldn't be charging more than $150 a night. These kind of conditions work for some people, but most will be very disappointed with their stay here. We ended our vacation a day early because of the black mold, or whatever it was. I don't know what else it could be. I spoke to the host (Vistay) about these issues, and they weren't interest in giving any kind of a refund. Always take pictures of the issues that you have with these properties. Without those, the host doesn't have to do the right thing.”

“Could use a better cleaning crew for sure. Contacted them the day after checkout to notify them of the issues and maintenance needed due to water damage we found in the home….have yet to amend the situation. It really ruined our holiday weekend, as no other accommodations were available in the area. In addition, they sold our info to a grocery delivery company, and also charged additional fees beyond what the listing stated…which I believe violates Airbnb policy.”

“Overall, it was a quiet, clean, and comfortable home. The kitchen dishes and washing machine could be a bit cleaner. The most confusing part was the trash policy at check-out. This was not convenient, and we hope this policy can be adjusted in the future.”

“The house was nice with a beautiful view and was a great setting for our family reunion. Overall, we enjoyed the property. It wasn't quite as clean as expected, though. There were items left from previous guests (water bottle, baby monitor, sunglasses), a little trash under a couple of beds, some dirty kitchen items put away, and no soap or shampoo in the showers. Our biggest concerns were with management. A maintenance worker entered the house without knocking or any prior notice, simply saying he needed to turn on the sprinklers. Later, because of an unknown fire restriction, we were told via the security camera speaker in a very aggressive tone to put out our fire. We immediately complied, but less than 20 seconds later, while getting water, they again yelled through the speaker in an even more aggressive tone, frightening several young children. The restriction wasn't the issue, the way it was handled was.”

“We stayed at the Lake Panguitch cabin. Beautiful area and the cabin was pretty nice except for stains in the carpet and the stains on the couch. We stayed for 4 nights. If you plan to cook I would suggest to bring pans, knives and cooking utensils. The listing says it has all of these and they do. but the knives are duller than butter knives, the utensils are falling apart and the pans look like they've been around since the 70s. Although we brought up a lot of things to barbecue outside since the cabin had a pretty decent looking barbecue from the photos. When we got there the barbecue was broke and filthy. Vista brought us another barbecue the following day which was in no better condition. Nor did it have a fuel source. When we told the company that it did not have a fuel source they told us to go buy one. The nearest town that sells those or at least 40 minutes away. We won't be staying there again.”

“While this cabin promises a large inviting space close to Panguitch lake, unfortunately our experience was not a good one. NOT RECOMMENDED. Issue 1: No hot water to kitchen or master bath for the entire week long trip. The host informed us of the issue just before we arrived, but was unable to fix it during our entire stay. Issue 2: Mice and mice droppings inside the cabin. We saw mice running around inside, as well as droppings in several of the living areas. One of our guests had a mouse run across his chest as he lay in bed. They were not able to resolve this issue during our stay. Issue 3: The internet would often go down, and when it came back up would be so slow as to be unusable. We had to reset the modem manually many times. It was never fixed during our entire stay. There were smaller issues like a rotten front deck, problems with the front door lock not unlocking, having a 2 slice toaster for a cabin that sleeps 12, shower heads that are too low, low water pressure, etc.”
