Manager Review

VistaStays

VistaStays's guest rating of 4.75 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The beds and bedding were fantastic! The area is awesome and really central to all of the salt lake area. It is a little dated, but it worked for what we needed and was not an expensive stay.

Nice place but there is no parking anywhere and if you find any it’s odd hours and paid hourly. Also the bldg smells super musty as soon as you walk in. Like old rust or mold. The windows in the bedroom don’t lock and just outside it is a balcony w ladder to next floors down…. Besides that it was nice.

This is a great place to stay if you have a student at the university and are looking for more than just a room. I like to have a kitchen to make a quick breakfast or sandwich for lunch. It’s nothing fancy but very comfortable and convenient. Will stay again

Stole a day - banged on the door and made it very uncomfortable for the ladies staying there. Would not recommend.

They really shouldn't list this place as having 2 beds. It has one bed and a crappy pull out sofa, which had no sheets or blankets set aside during our stay. They told us they were in the closet, but one closet was empty and the other was locked.

Had to switch to this at the last minute when our original booking cancelled and I don’t think we’d stay here otherwise. The location is great, close to the train and in a walkable area with plenty of amazing places to eat or grab a drink. The apartment complex itself is fine, but old. I guess there’s a reason that there’s photos of every room except the bathroom, it’s pretty rough. The shower was dirtier than we’d prefer. From what I can tell, this unit is owned by a corporate landlord and it shows with communication being quite slow. In addition, they say they pay cleaners to come in and clean between guests but also include a lot of cleaning instructions on checkout (more than I’ve had to do in private residences for sure). Not a quiet unit, either. We could hear anything that happened in the bathroom above us and regularly heard folks in the units around. This is a fine rental unit, but it really shows that it’s a corporate unit and there’s not much love or care put in.

The location was great. Priced too high. hideaway bed was dirty. Dirty enough we didn’t use it. There was 3 in our party - we were given 2 bath towels and found another shoved under the bathroom sink.

This apartment is In reality five floors up a very small staircase with no available parking, and the instructions say that you should just find a spot in an area that is posted permits required. If you do pull into the parking behind the building, there is no way to get turned around and back out on to the busy street. Wi-Fi is very low and dropped continually.

Everything was very clean and all the location was central. The listing did state free parking on premises, but it’s actually street parking on a steep hill around the corner.
