“The cottage was in a great place to access the beach, but noisy with traffic right in front of cottage. Cottage was small, if you are large individuals the bathrooms are extremely small. The cottage had all the basics needed. Smoke alarms were not functioning correctly and needed batteries. Had to replace at 3am when chirping went off. The toaster smoked and smelled like coils were burning. The queen bed in one bedroom was small and not comfortable at all, bed pillows were flat and had odor and stains. Overall ok stay but for the price, things need a little upgrading!”

“The place was awesome! My only complaint was i messaged him to see if we could check in early and for them to let me know when its ready since we was worn out from our long drive. Never got a reply from them. The only messages i ever got was automated ones. But other than that. It was awesome and a great room for the price! Amazing views!”

“The rental is a lovely remodel with a great ocean view from the deck! With one exception, the unit was very clean. The master bed was very comfortable. There is an outside storage area which was very useful to store our beach items. The beach access is as described, close and easy. The pool was a nice addition. We only have two complaints. First, the master bath shower leaked all over the floor. We chose not to use this shower and reported the issue. The towel racks had either fallen off or were pulling away from the wall. This was not much of an issue to us, tho for the price we paid, we felt like the issue should not have existed. The larger issue was a pet urine smell in the living room. We tried everything to remove the smell to no avail. While Arnette was very responsive initially, we did not hear back when this issue was presented. Giving the benefit of the doubt that the smell came from the prior renter, we would rent again, with guarantees the issue had been resolved.”

“This home was large enough to accommodate a group of 16. The pool was great for the kids to burn energy. The beds were super comfortable. However the place could use a lot of maintenance and TLC but you could not beat the location it’s literally right across the street from the beach.”

“I didn’t like the fact I had to take a journey to pick up the keys then drive to the unit then on checkout I have to take another journey to return the keys. Was my only issues”

“The house itself was great. Well stoked would remove carpet since since it was stained some. I assume because they allow pets. unfortunately the neighbors who rented next door threw parties all night every night we were there. Very Loud! And not our host fault at all obviously on the neighbor and who rented it. The other one thing I have issue with was we left blow dryer and curling iron, expensive ones and sent message same day asking owner if she can mail them back to us. And NO REPLY WHATSOEVER. She was very communicative prior and during but after SILENCE. even tho we messaged her. Its been 3 days and still she has not replied. WAS very disappointed in that.”

“house was amazing, only one complaint though. front steps were rotted and had problems with steps coming out, leading us to have missing steps up. one of the posts were also broken when we had arrived.”

“The mattress in the master is awful. Hard to believe there isn’t one negative comment about it. One step up from sleeping in a tent and that’s just from having air conditioning. I sleep better on the ground. Easily the worst mattress i have slept on in my life. My futon in college was better. It’s a shame because the location was great and as expected. Everything else was fairly standard for an Airbnb.”
