“Jing’s home is conveniently located near the convention center, but the surrounding neighborhood felt a bit unsafe, and there isn’t much to do nearby. The building is very outdated. The listing mentions window air conditioning units, but none were in place, and it was quite hot on at least one day of my stay, which made it uncomfortable. Check-in was also confusing. I was given a code for the main door but no other instructions. When I asked how to get into the unit, I was told it was unlocked with the keys inside. As a woman traveling alone who arrived late, I found this unsettling, especially with posters in the elevator asking residents to report a suspicious man. I was very uneasy. The couch was also missing a leg, and I nearly tipped over backwards when I sat down. Aside from the convenient location, I wouldn’t stay here again.”

“Gorgeous sunrise view of the lake and mountains. Cute loft structure and big patio to relax.”

“The neighbor and manager will take pictures of your children. I have stayed here in the past and I have loved my stay every time. The past two times have not been good. This last time I was there the neighbor across the street came over claiming he had been taking pictures of my 9 year old daughter and my using the fire pit and barbecue area not how it was intended. Claiming it was his barbecue pit and he was the new maintenance guy. I told him it was creepy he was taking pictures of my 9 year old daughter and he told me if I don’t like it don’t come back.”

“The shower door opens in a way that makes it inconvenient to enter and exit.”

“Unfortunately, I’m not able to give the apartment a perfect review. There was a very musty smell throughout the apartment, and there was very noticeable mold in the upstairs bathroom. There were spiders in almost every corner, as well as spider webs. The apartment was also quite dusty and seemed to have only been superficially cleaned.”

“Our check in code didn't work (the management company gave us one when we called). The unit was freezing, (temp set to 41) so we wore down coats while it warmed up. The neighborhood was safe and convenient and Jing allowed a brunch guest to come over. She also graciously allowed late checkout (info in unit said checkout was 10am.) It also said that we had to remove our shoes, though my elderly mother must wear footwear for balance. Getting to the master closet you have to walk sideways due to 6" of space at base of the queen bed, so we didn't use the closet. Water pipes next the twin bed pillow made a very loud noise when water upstairs was turned on. There was a small pile of dirt on my sheets, indicating they had not been washed. A previous guest's hair was left in the shower. The exterior entry appeared not to have been swept for months. The kitchen was clean, well labeled, and had handy appliances and dish racks. Jing was very pleasant in her communications.”

“Overall, the Airbnb met some of our needs and served its purpose. It was clean, and our stay was otherwise comfortable. The one very significant drawback was the shower. It was by far the smallest shower I’ve ever encountered, and the door swings inward, making it nearly impossible for an average-sized adult to step inside and close the door. Unless you’re a small child or a very very petite adult, the shower is essentially unusable. I wish this had been mentioned in the listing, as it would have influenced our decision to book. Aside from that, our stay was fine, but future guests should be aware of this limitation.”

“The apartment is clean and spacious and it has all the things you could need. The location is an easy walk to Bellevue. We arrived early evening as it was getting dark and there was no signage and I could not get anyone on the phone. Building hallways etc aren’t very clean, a bit scary at first. But we had a perfectly fine visit, no drama.”

“For the price point, this place will get the job done for your beach vacation. We felt a bit misled regarding the state of the home based of the description and photos alone. This place is in need of updates and a serious deep clean, which they were forthcoming about in the guest book they keep in the home, but not on the listing itself. Would be happy to return once this home gets its much needed updates, as the location and property really is wonderful.”
