“Our check in code didn't work (the management company gave us one when we called). The unit was freezing, (temp set to 41) so we wore down coats while it warmed up. The neighborhood was safe and convenient and Jing allowed a brunch guest to come over. She also graciously allowed late checkout (info in unit said checkout was 10am.) It also said that we had to remove our shoes, though my elderly mother must wear footwear for balance. Getting to the master closet you have to walk sideways due to 6" of space at base of the queen bed, so we didn't use the closet. Water pipes next the twin bed pillow made a very loud noise when water upstairs was turned on. There was a small pile of dirt on my sheets, indicating they had not been washed. A previous guest's hair was left in the shower. The exterior entry appeared not to have been swept for months. The kitchen was clean, well labeled, and had handy appliances and dish racks. Jing was very pleasant in her communications.”

“The view is gorgeous and we really liked the layout of the house. We had some issues with the safety and accessibility. None of the large windows have screens on them. Accessing the property if you don’t have a small car is difficult and we did not feel this was adequately explained in the listing. The narrow one lane road to drive on is better compared to a path that others walk and gather on. Turning around is very tricky. We found the queen beds uncomfortable and the furniture to be cheap (and often stained); for the price of the stay it didn’t match. We would not stay here again.”

“Very mixed feelings about this stay. Location is beautiful. Clear instructions were sent to find the house. However, what wasn't stated was that the home is on a waterfront path that people don't really drive on. Neighbors had chairs/tables set out and were clearly upset about people trying to drive through. Instructions said cars must be less than 7' tall but failed to mention that the garage is too shallow to actually park in. Home is laid out as described. On arrival we found multiple maintenance issues - hair in beds, dirty floors, sharp pieces broken off tables and sticking out, glass railing for the staircase broken and held together with plywood and caution tape. My 4yo cut herself badly on a 3" long metal spike sticking out from a door hinge. We messaged immediately about all these things (with photos); responses were slow and unhelpful. Refunded a very small amount and claimed it was 20% (it wasn't close). Multiple dangerous/maintenance issues which were not taken seriously.”

“Don’t fall for the pics! This is down a narrow path with a certified Karen living next-door gets upset if you simply walk down the public road. trash cans or a quarter mile away there’s no turnaround for large vehicles and the house was filthy. I would suggest to stay away from this one.”

“For the price point, this place will get the job done for your beach vacation. We felt a bit misled regarding the state of the home based of the description and photos alone. This place is in need of updates and a serious deep clean, which they were forthcoming about in the guest book they keep in the home, but not on the listing itself. Would be happy to return once this home gets its much needed updates, as the location and property really is wonderful.”
