Valta's guest rating of 4.68 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Overall this has been an horrible experience. From us pulling up to the house and noticing the house had not been kept up. The grass looked like it had not be but in months! When we went to the back to park we were confused on if we were supposed to walk through the tall grass to get to the front door. When entering the home we immediately seen it had not been cleaned at all. Trash all in the kitchen, dishwasher wide opened and a smell coming from it. When getting close to the food on the counter in the kitchen there were big black ants all around the food. That indicated this trash had been here for a while for it to be ants in the house. Next we checked both bedrooms. Neither room had been cleaned. Sheets have not been washed from the previous guest. There was a pile of dirty socks in the corner in one of the bedroom. Lastly we checked the bathroom and it was just as dirty as the rooms. There was a pair of dirty underwear in the trashcan in the bathroom!”airbnb

“This home was very clean and comfortable. The beds were great and so quiet! We enjoyed our stay and there was plenty of room to host family living in the area. It is extremely convenient to shopping and the wonderful things Poulsbo offers. The only small glitch was that the pictures looked as though the yard was completely fenced. However, the fence is a foot or two off the ground so you must keep your dog on a leash. That isn’t indicated in the description but we were notified 3 days before we arrived that if we didn’t keep our dog leashed we may be subject to a $500 penalty. That was a concern as the large yard was a deciding factor in choosing this particular property. We were hoping to allow our dog a little freedom outside after being cooped up in the car for a couple of days. This policy should be disclosed in the listing.”airbnb

“This is a tough review. I will lead with the postives: very close to clamming/fishing/beach. Kitchen is great, though could be utilized better. The upgrades going in, will for sure be great when they are completed. The negative: the rental was not cleaned. there was visible fresh pet urine on the living room rug and directly in the middle of our bed. overall there was a pungent smell of cat urine and fesese we are all allergic to. we are all allergic to cats. my 8 yr old was running around cleaning up piles of animal hair. The electrical outlets are dangerous (most have visible burns on the neutral side) and the non working smoke alarm is not located correctly. There were several confused renters knocking on our windows/doors angry about thier booking thinking we were the office which resulted in multiple defensive alterations. There is no map of the amenities offered here. The multiple pet sheets "to help keep things clean" didnt exist and I shower and find my towel says "pet rag". ..”airbnb

“A Disappointment and not worth it. When you have a problem the “onsite caretaker” is unresponsive. The support line is someone located in the Philippines who has screaming kids in the background. We were in unit 8. The caretaker lives in unit 7. We saw her leave Monday and not come back until Thursday. Apparently Tuesday and Wednesday are her days off. The owners did not have anyone else available to cover for her. So if you stay here during those days and run out of towels, toilet paper, or garbage bags good luck. Day three in the evening the septic pump began sounding an alarm. The septic alarm continued to sound the remainder of the six days we were there. Day four we had a power outage that lasted several hours. I sent text to both numbers and never got a response. Concerning towels. what you are provided at the beginning is pretty much what you get. The Wi-Fi was terrible. Several of the windows don’t lock.”airbnb

“The property was extremely unclean with no apparent effort made to address the issue. There were also ants present in the rooms and bathroom. The sheets were dirty and had an unpleasant odor, reminiscent of a dog, which was immediately noticeable upon entering the room. We arrived late due to our flight and simply wanted to rest, but instead, we were forced to stay up until 1 a.m. cleaning the sheets and surrounding area ourselves because of the unacceptable conditions. This was incredibly frustrating, and I would not recommend staying here.”airbnb
