“As soon we arrive to the place, my family and I have to stop vacation mode to cleaning the apartment. It was disappointing to have to spend the first couple hours cleaning little bit here and there . We cleaned some blood from the floors . The response of my first couple calls was next day in the afternoon. The only good thing is the area . We are not going back to this place .”

“Overall, we had a wonderful vacation, and the location was definitely the best part of our stay. Being in Barefoot was perfect, and the pool access was convenient and enjoyable. That said, the condo could benefit from a much more thorough deep cleaning. While the bathrooms were clean, the rest of the unit did not feel as well maintained. Since it’s pet-friendly, we expected there might be some pet hair, but the living room rug was covered in dog hair. The vacuum wasn’t working properly, so we ended up rolling the rug up and storing it in the closet for the duration of our stay. The bed sheets also had hair on them, so we washed them and purchased our own sheets to use during our visit. The kitchen was spacious and functional, although the appliances are a bit dated. The enclosed patio would have been a nice feature, but unfortunately we couldn’t use it because there were large American cockroaches (palmetto bugs) throughout the patio area and around the front entrance every evening.”

“Great pool, close to beach, nicely decorated and clean. Screened porch was unusable, dirty floors and screens, rotted wood.”

“Wonderful location. Overall good. Unfortunately very dirty floors/stairs, bugs (ants behind couches and trash left under couches ), linens left on pull out couch with bug on it, ants and crumbs behind pull out couch, many items barely hanging on (shower curtain half way off wall, knobs missing, broken rocking chair, toilet paper roll hanger fell off with no pressure, microwave knob fell off, toaster oven pops open randomly.) very convenient place and location. Enjoyed back porch , pool was great and outdoor shower nice. Thank you for our stay.”

“The house itself was good for our family. Plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen was well stocked. Location is great, right across from the beach. Short drive to restaurants and activities.Only negatives were the upstairs bathroom tub did not drain and toilet leaked. The kitchen sink and downstairs bathroom sink did not drain well. Also, it was great to have a private pool however the skimmer was not working so we had to constantly skim the pool so we could swim.”

“Unfortunately, we had a horrible stay at this Airbnb. The property was incredibly dirty upon arrival. The floors were sticky and covered in dust, and I had to purchase cleaning supplies just to make the space somewhat usable. Even a Swiffer mop was not enough to clean the floors properly. The carpet was visibly filthy, and the entire property smelled strongly of marijuana smoke. There were also dirty quilts and sheets left in the closets, so we were unsure whether any of the extra bedding was clean or safe to use. When I contacted Marcie about these issues, the response was unpleasant and dismissive. It felt as though our concerns about the cleanliness and sticky floors were not taken seriously. Based on the condition of the property and the lack of concern shown, I would not recommend staying here.”

“Great location for what we needed. What issues we had with the what looked like mold on the ceiling / water stains, carpet stains, and couch stains. Marcia said she would address with the owner. Nice home over all, very spacious, quiet neighborhood, felt safe.”

“Excellent location and beautiful home. Only down side on our trip was the indoor lazy river was not functional and that was a big bummer. We wish there was a way it would’ve been communicated to us when we were booking. Other than that the view is amazing and the easy access to the beach.”
