Vacation Rentals Beach Properties's guest rating of 4.49 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The space in the house, rooms and kitchen were very accommodating. The kids loved the pool and all liked the game room and pool table. Unfortunately, we had dogs and there was no place within the fenced yard that had grass. The gas grill fell apart when trying to roll it. The space on the back deck was very nice. The water view was relaxing. The deck had many nails sticking up that needs nailed down. And not exactly accommodating if tall (over 5' 10"). Rafters and lights are serious head obstructions. Also a whole lot of loose and uneven pavers around pool and grilling areas. I feel the price may have been right for the area, but too high for the lack of maintenance. Probably wouldn't do it again.”airbnb

“Very nice house. But was divided into 4 separate units with 4 different codes. Would be nice if it’s a big group to only have one code. It was very confusing until we worked out our own solution. The beach was beautiful and very private. The nearby restaurants were very good but definitely had to drive. Overall it was a great experience. Just a little more upfront info on how the units were setup would have been helpful. Very clean with enough towels. Needed more than one trash bag per can and more than one roll of toilet paper but as long as you bring extra and paper products it’s fine. You will need charcoal if you want to grill. It’s like a grill in a public park. But for a group of 13 friends we had a wonderful time hanging on the 2 nd floor porch overlooking the ocean.”airbnb

“first morning cold water. called the guy told me to check the fuses. the fuse was popped. he told me that these things do happen in a house. i dont need an education from a kid. he was just rude. i believe the fuse was popped intentionally to safe power. this would be ok just leave a note at the box. like everything bad description.”airbnb

“We stayed here for 3 nights during Memorial Day weekend with 7 couples for a friends gathering. The location is great and the property was clean and neat. However, we only realized 2 days before check-in that the property is divided into 4 separate units (2 downstairs and 2 upstairs), and the owner lives on the top floor. For large family or friend gatherings, it felt more like staying in separate hotel rooms than one vacation home together. There is no proper kitchen, only a microwave, toaster, and small fridge in each unit. There is also no washer/dryer or place to dry wet beach clothes and towels. One night around 1 AM, the entry code stopped working and we were locked out. After multiple calls/messages and contacting Airbnb support, the host responded around 2:20 AM and helped us enter. Overall, good location and clean property, but not ideal for large group gatherings and not worth the money”airbnb

“Very nice townhouse. It was well stocked and very comfortable. Definitely would recommend it. The only downside was the $200 charge for our dog and was not told about this fee until we showed up to pick up the keys. In all my stays, have not been charged extra, only a deposit that was refundable.”airbnb

“Overall we truly enjoyed our stay. My only complaint is when we messaged the host about the huge chip and crack all the way across the stove and all the knives were rusted they only response we got was “will tell the owner” even though 4 host were in the chat. But we were unable to use the stove top so ended up having to eat out more than planned.”airbnb

“If you want to clean the house when you first arrive, don’t mind the musty smell, and the filthy tables and chairs, the rat poison in the fireplace and in kitchen cabinets, cleaning out the ice maker when you first arrive as it stinks; have your adult children find somewhere else to stay, taking a shower in a bathroom with peeling wall paper (we opted for the dirty outdoor shower instead) and outdated EVERYTHING and a company that knows this but doesn’t care - then this is your place! Had to tie back some of the shrubbery to take the walk to the ocean and then step over the overgrown portions to finish the walk. Talked to “management” company - no apologies for anything!! It is a camp trying to be a house, the addition is nice but the rest leaves everything to be desired. There is only 1 full bathroom (peeling wall paper and 60’s fixtures) the other 2 bathrooms are 3/4 baths, one with a small closet shower and the other with a large tub.”airbnb

“I tired to kindly point out issues with photos and got no reply back. So I hope this helps someone else, because photos are falsely misleading. The kitchen had dirty pans and utensils, the bedding had stains, some towels smelled as they were left wet, the couches all have stains, all lounge chairs were broken, landscaping was dead and not cared for. The yard is not fully fenced in. There are no beach chairs or toys available. The shed had random dirty and gross things thrown in it. Area houses are run down and some were trailers. We shared this information with photos to the rental company. If someone would clean this place, buy new linens/bedding, towels, furniture, add outside seating and some beach stuff it would be great! You can walk to the beach and the pool is great!”airbnb
