“Enjoyed the stay”

“Everything in Crosswinds 925 was as described or as pictured. The Condo was very clean. The 4 season room was definitely an added bonus for quiet time mornings and evenings. The only challenge was the walk and steps up to the back of the building, but we were aware in advance and the condo was worth the walk up to it, for those physically able.”

“We found the place to be a little dirty with hair left in the shower and trash left behind the dresser. The lamp in the living room did not work for proper lighting. The tv in the spare room did not work the first night but mysteriously worked after. There is no good literature In the space to tell you what is close by and good choices for food or entertainment. The large garden tub has a massive stain or what I assume was a stain if not it’s dirty and not very sanitary. The hike from the parking lot to the living space was massive so a hand cart of some sort to lug your belongings would be a great idea. Overall I just wasn’t impressed for what I paid and spent for my first experience to Torch Lake.”

“We had a great stay. Place was very clean and close to everything we wanted to do. Also loved the access to pools & beaches.”

“We really loved the actual place, but I do have just a few suggestions. I am being fitted for custom knee braces, so it would have been nice to know just HOW many stairs you have to climb to get to it. Was very hard on my knees. And could be very bad for a lot of people. Another thing was that we were left very little dishwasher soap. We are just 2 people but I had to shake and shake and shake just to get enough for a final load and we only had done 2 loads in 8 days, because we knew we were not gonna buy that, so not enough at all. Since it is a condo with a full kitchen, the idea for most, is to cook their own meals. But there was no plastic wrap, foil for cooking, or any kind of Rubbermaid containers or baggies or anything for like left overs or storage. And when the internet went out, we called the number for maintenance issues that says available 24/7, and the man who answered was so incredibly rude, informed us it is NOT 24/7 and to call back later! This was at 9:40 am.”

“We will definitely book this place again if we are thinking about outdoor activities like hiking, biking, etc. if the idea was to enjoy the beach, I’d book a place in Traverse City. Don’t get me wrong, you can easily get your car to a very close beach (7 min) because the location is great, but I’d pick a place here for activities I just mentioned and beach time at TC. We were trying to contact the management by phone to ask for nearby places like restaurants or else but there was no response and we figured it out ourselves because of the proximity to Bellaire or other towns.”

“Booked for a family reunion in the area. Was unable to find or read any prior reviews but books strictly on number of bedrooms and location. It served those needs very well. But the place is old and dark and in need of updates. Needed to be aired out but screens were either missing or handles to windows broken. There was no outdoor furniture for the deck so we scrubbed up a couple of old and broken chairs by the fire pit to enjoy the out deck (which also needs refinishing.) Kitchen needs to be organized and sorted. Drawers and cabinets full of old junk much of which is broken or outdated. Some containers in closet even had food remnants-crumbs. Beds and sheets were clean and towels-nice. Comforter on bed upstairs had a rip. Speaking of stairs, they are not for the weak. Very challenging and wobbly. Once we figure out the AC (day 3) it worked well but was extremely noisy. No one we called for assistance had ever even seen the property-company out of state. Looks much nicer than it is.”

“All was well until a week after our stay. We were accused of a few damages that we had no part in. It is a shame because it was a nice stay up until this occurred.”

“the place was nice, the heat was weird to control. And I was confused because of the booking through here and Airbnb but being asked to contact the company with any issues NOT through Airbnb. the door struggles to latch sometimes as well but the location and price were great!”
