Vacation on Marco

“The unit was as described, my reason for only 4 stars is due to the furniture and other furnishings were dated. The bed was semi comfortable but had no bed bug protection on it. The unit had carpet which really is not ideal for it proximity to beach and pool and it had a lot of stains. The carpet gave the unit a dirty feeling. Also the unit had a musty/moldy smell for the first few hours in unit maybe due to it being closed up for a while and the AC not running All in all a good stay and we had a great time”

“Beautiful place & view! Only 2 washcloths and hand towels, 1 dishcloth and 2 dish towels total for 7 night stay. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels. Only 1 kitchen trash bag. Lots of construction noise above us and tower beside us that was unpleasant and disruptive. We had to evacuate the building and pool for an entire day which was inconvenient and we lost some groceries because of it. I know the transformer had to be replaced but it was a disruption to our vacation. Walk to beach was very long. Great shelling along that end of the beach. Overall, great place with beautiful views!”

“What a beautiful home. We have been visiting Marco Island from South Florida for many years. We decided to stay longer than just a day for my 60th birthday weekend and this house was perfect, I could not have chosen a better place to spend my special day.”

“The condominium is in a very good location, especially for access to the beach, but it needs some improvements. It looks a bit neglected. The key for the beach entrance was not working properly, and the apartment itself also needs some repairs. The TV did not work and was outdated.”

“We have stayed in various units at SeaWinds on a regular basis since 2002. So, we have a credible basis for comparison. Additionally, we rented a second unit this year during this same week for the other half of our family to use. This unit had the basics throughout with the exception of the kitchen space. We don’t expect fully stocked cabinets but do think having sufficient food storage containers, cooking utensils/pans, etc should be provided. Most units even provide some typical consumables like salt/pepper, foil, etc. We have found this in the past and also in comparison with the other unit this week.”

“The private beach access is very convenient and accessible. We could see pretty sunsets from our balcony.”

“The entire rental process was very easy and transparent and the team was helpful. Pictures are exactly like we found the condo and good representations. For this condo, it’s all about the location - it’s perfect and provides beautiful sunrises and sunsets and immediate beach access. If we had two nit picks, it would be these: first, the master bathroom has zero privacy and is odd- works fine, just completely open to the rest of the room. The second is the property managers need better attention to detail - cleaning was fine, but it wasn’t complete, the kitchen utensils are over worn, with the cutting knives actually rusty, and the bed/bath linens are clean but overused. For a place we presume gets rented a fair amount, they would be well served to invest in all of the above yearly. I would rent again for sure and we appreciated the hospitality shown by the owners and management company.”
