Vacation Inn LA
4.73Visit website
Vacation Inn LA's guest rating of 4.73 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Great stay. Very spacious. The bedrooms are large, and everyone had their own bathroom. Great location. We could walk to restaurants and to window shop. Really enjoyed our stay.”airbnb

“For anyone looking for a peaceful, beach community stay in North Santa Monica, this is the spot. Quiet at night, low traffic, and very beautiful outdoor spaces. The interiors are expertly decorated, and create a very unified and put together look. Would definitely stay again!”airbnb

“The house itself is beautiful, in a great location, and has a lot of potential. We enjoyed our stay overall and the property certainly makes a strong first impression. However, for a premium property at this price point (over $16,000 for our week-long stay), we felt it fell short in a number of areas. The overall impression was that the house had been prepared for Airbnb as a temporary arrangement rather than being fully set up and maintained as a high-end rental property. It almost felt as though it was intended for a long-term let or sale in the background. There were a number of maintenance and quality issues throughout our stay. Several blinds did not work properly, TVs were not functioning in some rooms, some lamps and fixtures were inoperative, and basic amenities were lacking. We were also disappointed by the quality of the pillows and some of the furnishings, which did not match the premium standard suggested by the listing and price. None of these issues individually ruined”airbnb

“Really amazing view. Lacked some basics and amenities however considering the price you pay.”airbnb

“Month long rental. TV doesn't work. Broken blinds. Expired fire extinguisher. We notice but don't make a fuss. Then my father, a senior citizen, is sitting at the breakfast table and the chair comes apart. He falls and fractures his ankle, injures his tailbone. Looking underneath the chair we see there are zero screws where the legs attach to the seat. Screw holes; no screws. We check other chairs; all the same. Never properly assembled. Only a matter of time before they collapsed. We look for the first aid kit -- missing. We contact the host. Anything they can do for us in all this? No. They offer one night discount out of 30 nights. They deny liability. Airbnb support ticket now spanning several weeks. Forced into arbitration. For my dad, weeks of doctor visits and a leg brace. I've stayed in 55 Airbnb's in 6 countries, my guest reviews are always generous and positive. No contest this was the worst stay of my entire life. 'Vacation Inn LA' has many properties. Avoid if you can.”airbnb

“The pictures looked beautiful. They seemed nice. We checked in the front door was broken did not flow or lock so totally unsafe. Water damage in the walls in bedroom. House a mess total disaster. We filed a complaint with airbnb and somehow they were able to scam us and get airbnb to cancel and charge us a full 30 days we were there 1 hour. A total scam do not book.”airbnb

“This house was a splurge at $7,000 for 5 nights. Thought it was going to be incredible and it was horrible. One roll of TP in bathrooms. No spare. No Kleenex, paper towels. No kitchen towels. Not a spice, oil, coffee, no dishwasher soap. The Coffeemaker was a Keurig style. It was so cheaply made, and it didn’t work. Duct tape on the washing machine. Every levelor blind had big broken holes. I specifically rented this house because I was bringing my dog. The driveway gate chain was in a pile, and clearly broken from the moment I pulled in. On the second day someone came to fix it at 9:45 PM, and at 11:00 PM said it needed a new motor. So there was no security for me, but I also could not let my dog out for the entire trip. I was literally talking or texting the managers every single day. It was such a drag to be there, I had to go to the grocery store every day for something, that the managers said “they don’t provide these things”. This house is a total rip off.”airbnb
