“Overall, the lake was nice and we enjoyed our time, but unfortunately I wouldn’t rent this Airbnb again. The area around the water was dirty, and when we originally booked, the photos showed a long dock that was later removed from the updated listing photos. The fridge wasn’t cooling, leaving our drinks warm and forcing us to store food in the freezer, which wasn’t even cold enough to freeze water. The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were old, and the king bed had what appeared to be blood stains at the top where your upper body rests. The house also wouldn’t lock properly from the inside. The bathroom made a loud, unpleasant noise, and random waves of bad smells came into the house. They also recommended Winni Watersports for boat rentals, which I wouldn’t recommend for anyone without boating experience or a license, as the experience did not feel professional or beginner-friendly. Nice lake and location, but too many issues for us to return.”

“Power had issues breaker would activate when AC was on and TV was on Wifi was coming from main trailer which was far away and didnt work very well. Other than that place was as described and worked for our 1 night stay.”

“Relaxing stay”

“The listing stated 5 can sleep in unit 7. Yes, it had 2 double beds for 4 people but the 5 bed would be the floor. The couch is not a bed it's a love seat that doesn't open. WE loved the location and access to the lake. Everyone agreed that the $100.00 dollar cleaning fee for one night was way to high”

“Never very responsive to my questions”

“Overall, as Winni families ourselves, we loved the location and recommended it to a woman who came to check it out for a future rental! It was a bit confusing to find by car with GPS, but by boat, it was easy to access. We had a miscommunication, as I believe we had been messaging another family member who also owns the property that told us to park at whichever slip, but the owner who lives next door was unfriendly to our group about a miscommunication on their part. We recommend having better signage or check-in instructions for renters bringing boats. The house was a great size for 14, but the dock was difficult to tie up at, there was mouse poop on the bathroom floor, and we ran out of trash-bags, toilet paper, paper towels, and dishwasher pods on the second day of four. We know we could have told the owner instead of buying more ourselves, but given the size of the property and guest count, we didn’t feel we should have had to, nor did we want to given our initial interaction.”

“We did have a nice weekend away. The cabin is very close to downtown, the water, restaurants etc. Check in was easy and we were able to get right in. The location sets you up nicely for going to Gunstock or Wolfeboro too. We only had a few complaints over the course of our stay. The room had a moldy smell upon entering and one of us eventually got sick due to the moldy mini split. Also the trash was overflowing with bags on top of the dumpster. We did contact vacanza after our stay and felt the response back was impersonal and likely AI.”

“The cottage was in a great location and had lots to do on the property (pool table, pool, fire pit, etc.). However the unit was missing some basic amenities (lasting hot water, mirror in bathroom, closets with hangers).”

“In unit 2 the floor has this weird dip in it that effects the water in the shower nearly having water come out and it also makes using the toilet uncomfortable as well. on the tother side of the wall where the kitchen is that dip exist as well and can make you almost trip. thers other options in the area that have room for 4 people that are significantly cheaper but don’t offer the pool and games but definitely consider what you value when booking”
