“Pros: * Staff was friendly and pleasant. * Communication with the host was good. (They did address the mold in the AC unit when we messaged) * Property is located directly on the beach Cons: * Property was dated and run-down compared to the listing photos, which made it appear much more updated and well-maintained * We encountered a cockroach during our stay * Some listing photos were misleading-distance to water, amenities, etc * Provided chairs and equipment were old, with some items broken * Clubhouse amenities were somewhat disappointing, with only granola bars and a coffee machine available * Location is inconvenient for dining and activities. Nothing is within walking distance, so driving is necessary Overall: While the beachfront location and friendly staff were appreciated, the property fell short of expectations. The listing photos portray a much nicer experience than what we encountered. The property could use some updates and better maintenance.”

“We had a lovely and relaxing stay! The place was nice, and the ocean view was beautiful. The room appeared clean, although there was a slight musty smell. The ocean was wonderful for swimming, but be mindful of the waves and limestone rocks along the shore. We recommend wearing water shoes for extra comfort and safety. One small tip: we arrived at night and found it a little difficult to locate our room, so make sure to ask for your room name in advance to make finding it easier. The concierge was always kind, helpful, and welcoming, which we really appreciated! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a peaceful, relaxing time by the ocean.”

“What a gem. This is our new favorite place to stay. We had everything we needed and it was amazing waking up and going to be with the ocean just steps from our this cute little bungalow. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!”

“Beautiful home. Very clean. Only two air fresheners which I moved outside when we arrived. The house aired out quickly and no longer smelled like them. Only complaints - scented toilet paper!?!? 50% of women get UTIs from it. Had to buy our own. And scented trash bags smelled so strong I used grocery bags instead so I didn’t have to open the cupboard with the trash can. No scent caters to everyone. Fake fragrances do not. Many people are allergic to them in one way or another. Otherwise everything was perfect!”

“Beautiful beach and Gulf views, spectacular sunset, right from our room, made up for anything lacking. The room seemed smaller than the photos but otherwise accurate. There was a slightly musty smell on arrival but not noticeable after a few hours. Bed and linens very comfy. The outlet for the coffee machine and teapot worked the first morning but not the second and had to find another outlet to plug into. If you want to purchase anything from the clubhouse, bring cash. Overall, I would stay here again.”

“Place is very peaceful, clean,beautiful ocean sounds. Very responsive hosts. Did not get in water due to it being very rocky. I have about 100 bites on me from noseeums which made they stay very uncomfortable. If I had known I would not have stayed here. Make sure you take bug spray. I also then had a passing in the family and they were unable to give me any kind of refund nor work anything out. Paid for one week and only stayed 3 nights as at that point it no longer felt like a vacation as I didn’t wanna go back outside anymore due to all the bites. If I’m at a beach I go to lay out and get in water and unfortunately i couldn’t due to already being bitten up everywhere. I ended having to get another air bnb in Clearwater just so I could peacefully enjoy the remainder of my vacation.”

“Do NOT stay at this location. We had to leave the place as soon as we arrived and find some place better. The entire place was dirty. The mattress had a blood stain. The shower was so dirty I could wipe away the dirt with a piece of toilet paper. There were stains on the pillows and hair on the bed. The freezer was covered in food that hadn’t been cleaned. The floor had crumbs and was obviously dirty. It was incredibly dusty under every piece of furniture like nobody had moved anything in months. We had an awful experience. The location was beautiful and the view was great. But the place itself was awful. I messaged them to let them know with pictures and they told me to contact the main host. I had to ask for the number to contact. By that point I had already reached out to Airbnb support to figure out what to do. We ended up leaving and canceling the whole trip. We had to frantically find somewhere else to stay for the night.”

“We really enjoyed our time here. The location was amazing and the property was enjoyable. The only minus is the water damage we found in the room and that resulted in some surface mold near the kitchen entryway. Which means theres probably more mold in the walls or attic. Overall we had a good time and would love to come back but would hope that they would take care of the rooms better. $1000 for 3 nights just for there to be mold on the walls and bathroom floors covered in urine. That part was really disappointing. I get the place is old but that is no excuse to ignore proper maintenance and cleaning.”
