“We had 2 families + 4 dogs (with permission). Our stay was perfect and everything we could have asked for. We slept with the slider open and luckily found a fan in the closet, I forgot mine and always sleep with one. Ahhhh, paradise. You can hear sea lions and see the ocean from the back deck and while in the hot tub! Perfect for our dogs the yard was a good size. The neighbors were very helpful and friendly! We were a little loud the fist night after a late arrival. We received a very nice and understanding email reminder about quiet time. No problem. Lots of games in the closet and space for everyone to spread out. Plenty of blankets and pillows. No need to take up space packing those. Very clean, one of the more clean Air bnbs I've rented. Anchor bay beach is was so nice and so close! Access was easy peasy and we shuttled in from the house. It was foggy in the morning and cleared up by noon! So wonderful, so happy with our stay. We would definitely love to stay again next year!!!”

“Hosts were super helpful when I had questions and helped me troubleshoot sticky situations. I absolutely love how this place is perfect for either families or just getting together with friends (how we did) to have a relaxing weekend. I love that the beach passes are shared so that it waives that fee to get in and it’s right across the street. Most places have nothing in terms of condiments , spices, or toiletries, but not here. We forgot some stuff so it was nice to see that it was provided and it helped us out a lot. Overall 10/10 experience and my friends and I are hoping to book the same place again soon🫶🏼”

“We had a wonderful stay as a family with young kids. The house was very clean and had everything we needed, including some fun extras for the kids like games, a huge box of duplo and DVDs. The hosts were very responsive and gave clear and helpful instructions for checking in and out and some tips for the neighborhood. We hope to come back again!”

“We loved Utopia by the Sea! Anchor bay is a quaint treasure, the hike down the street to the local shops is awesome and the short hike to the anchor bay beach was our favorite! The sand, the anemones. Seastars was such a delight! The hot tub, ocean views, cozy house vibes! And the jumping jack game is a must! Loved the upper deck too! Also the quiet street along their house is great for kid bike rides our son loved it! So many other local treasures nearby ! We love this area! The host is super helpful and responsive! Thank you so much for working with us we had an incredible stay! Cheerio!”

“First time in Gualala and this place made it truly unforgettable. The beautiful garden amplifies the breathtaking view of the coast, and I feel so lucky we could enjoy it all in the spring time (especially from the balcony and hot tub). Some other highlights include the frog concerts at dusk, the kitchen full of cats, and all the lights that come on at night! You could tell that the people who put all this together really know how to have fun and relax. Geniuses. One of my favorite stays so far 🐸”

“We have vacationed in Anchor Bay for years, but this is the nicest place we have stayed. The house was very clean (they should share the name of their cleaners with other home rentals!!!). They even had a hair dryer (even though I don't think it was listed). It was so relaxing and tranquil and the area is lovely. We love the Gualala beach, it is well worth the $8 entrance fee. I am looking at future dates to stay here!”

“This house was amazing, we enjoyed ourselves so much, It was so welcoming we spend most of our time at the house.We love it up at the coast so many things to see and do. The White Cap coffee shops haves the best coffee. And they are so friendly. Also check out the pizza parlor at Point Arena Pier. They don’t open until 3pm. Thank you for letting us stay at your house.”

“Perfect stay, the home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Hosts were communicative and everything was so well run that I didn’t need to reach out for any issues. We loved walking to the beach and enjoying the puzzles and kids games when home. I would absolutely come back.”
