“This is going to be an honest review. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous. It’s quiet, the accommodations were perfect for our group. The pool, hot tub and theater room are amazing. The house is close to things, which is so nice. It is a beautiful place. However, when we arrived, the house wasn’t very clean - the toilets were dirty, there was a dirty sock left in one of the bunks, the floor is coming up in different areas of the house, the shower heads and dishwasher were gross, and the water smelt absolutely horrible - smelt like iron or metal. We had to use water bottles to brush our teeth and wash our hands to avoid the smell. I sent a message about the cleanliness to the management team, but never got a true follow up on it. For the price you pay, I just would expect it to be completely clean.”airbnb

“To be completely honest, the view and the cabin itself were very nice, but there were definitely some issues and even though the host responds nothing gets resolved as I am not the first guest to bring it up. Pros: Beautiful Views Plenty of room for large families Great Parking Nice Balconies Cons: Broken fridge. To be clear on this one, they don't truly try to fix it nor am I the first to bring it up!! Food was left in bed. They didn't change the sheets and a malted milk ball was found in one of the beds. No extra sheets either to change myself. Limited utensils and towels. Might want to bring your own too if you have kiddos. Lot of glass cups and plates. Coffee maker spits out coffee grounds even if you are doing single use and not all the buttons work. Cobwebs in showers and spiders too”airbnb

“We rented this house because there supposed to be ev charger . But I was trying to connect with support during 2 days . And I didn’t get any helpful information.”airbnb

“The listing stated it had an outdoor pool and the pictures provided showed the pool directly behind the house we were staying in. When we arrived the pool was drained and this information was not provided when we booked Or we would have chosen somewhere else. We had smoke alarms beeping in multiple rooms throughout our stay and sent multiple messages about this. Was told at one point that someone was coming to fix them and no one ever came. We had to move out of some rooms due to not being able to sleep with the noise. The dishwasher downstairs did not work as well.”airbnb

“Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing and did not match the luxury experience that was advertised. The cabin and guest house were noticeably unclean upon arrival, with numerous cobwebs, dust, dirt, and spider webs throughout the property. There was even what appeared to be blood on one of the bathroom walls, which was extremely unsettling. We also had issues with the AC unit and refrigerator. The refrigerator malfunction caused us to lose around $250 worth of groceries that we specifically purchased to cook meals during our stay. Instead, we were forced to spend even more money eating out. What made the experience more frustrating was the lack of communication from the host. I reached out multiple times regarding these concerns and only received a generic response saying they would get back to us, but they never actually addressed the issues. For amount paid, the property was simply not up to par. Beware when booking- while it’s a beautiful view might not be worth the money!”airbnb

“Highlights - very spacious - private and peaceful - indoor pool and hot tub Lowlights - upstairs living room furniture was stained and uncomfortable - upper deck area furniture had burn holes, paint stain, mold and bird feces - mattresses are extremely soft, gave very little support and the fitted sheets would constantly come off - lack of curtains that blocked any light in all bedrooms - lower deck and furniture was covered in bird feces, we reached out about this issue but were offered no solution so we had to use garden hose and clean off ourselves just to be able to walk on deck -front door lock was extremely hard to get unlocked/locked from the inside, had to contact host to figure it out - missing screen sliders upstairs and were damaged downstairs which meant you could not leave glass doors open without risk of bugs in house All of these concerns were voiced at the beginning of our stay, accompanied with photos, and no assistance was ever offered. Not worth price we paid”airbnb

“One of my most difficult stays here. We had to checkout a day earlier. Host provided a 24/7 text line which proved to be utterly useless (sounded like a bot), it did not help in transferring our concerns to the main line, although it said it would. Our plumbing issues did not get resolved till the following day, evening time although I was told it would resolve the first thing in the morning. 4 people were sharing one small bathroom. Furthermore, this place has no bath mats or anything which made it hard to maintain cleanliness of the floors. One of the quilted blankets had tears and holes in it- just felt gross to be lying in it. Lighting is poor in the second bedroom, seems more like decor than actual functional use. When I finally was able to speak to someone about our issues I was told this isn’t a hotel, although I never asked for toiletries or anything. Good location, clean place, nice views, and the apartment’s amenities were nice. Amy was pleasant through Airbnb chat”airbnb

“Besides the beautiful view i would not recommend. Nothing was up to par. From the wrong address to check in to the initial walk through everything HORRIBLE. We drove over 6hours and paid a great amount of money to get the unwind experience. However everything was FILTHY, stained (dirty) counters EVERYWHERE, stained inside & outside furniture , dirty linen, bugs , hair& trash . Dirty dishes (some not all), old malfunctioning stove broken microwave , and bathrooms with hair and other things in it. Popcorn in couch , nails in couch , cheetos inside out swings , tv remote didn't work(batteries) outside lights didn't work as well as several lamps , bedroom, & ceiling lights . We informed them immediately and request cleaning. After waiting hours we received 3quilts , 4 towels and washcloths. No sheets at all or clean linen for other guest .No one came clean instead we were offered a cup of bleach with paper towels. We had to do laundry. We got used batteries. No one came back as promised”airbnb

“Cute decorations but….. covered in pollen- which it’s the time over year but didn’t look like the porch had been sweeped or looked like they were expecting paying guests … we planned our meals around grilling - the grill did not work nor were there basic grilling tools- other than a wire brush. Decided to bake - had to go buy baking dishes - No tongs. Only a partial knife set so we had to get creative. No dish soap/ or enough dishwasher packs . Every dish we pulled out felt grimy- and hand washed before we used. Dried pasta In the colander. Kitchen did not feel well equipped. The upstairs shower had left over old soap bar from a previous guest with hair on it and a hair tie on the shower knob- hard to miss if you are cleaning it. This is run by a management company and the cleaning seemed to be cutting major corners. I’m not a critical personal and usually give airbnbs high ratings. Cabin its self has great potential - but seems that no one is really looking at it to ensure so.”airbnb

“Roaches. Our first day we noticed roaches. Also, Dishwasher rack was broken, bowls put in cabinet with water from dishwasher still in them and 2 of 3 mattresses were noisy/uncomfortable (noted in a prior review, didn’t understand until you sleep on them). Later that day, more roaches were in the property. I notified host (showed a 5 hour response time), so I called emergency line to notify & ask for another cabin. Emergency line advised did not classify as emergency. Host responded they would send out pest control next morning. As of 11am the next day we had not seen pest control and my daughter had a roach crawling on her. At that time, we packed up & I notified host we vacated the property prior to 11:30am. Host advised pest control showed no roaches, couldn’t be true as my daughter killed the last roach that was crawling on her & left on bathroom floor. Charged me for 2 nights AFTER we left property. Did refund 1st night only. Host Advised roaches common to area.”airbnb
