“The rental was amazing and the experience was great. What bothers us now is that we are being accused of smoking in the residence and that is not at all the case. Id like to be contacted and have an opportunity to discuss things like this rather than be accused of something we did not do and charged with a 600 dollar fee. That is ridiculous”

“Place was fine - host was thoughtless and careless to dispose of an expensive item erroneously left behind without attempting to help place the itme. Not even one call to attempt to save the itme. They just threw it out. Evidently, theie customer isn't worth the effort. Purely a financial transaction. This is very disappointing”

“The rooms are all true to their pictures. We were here for a wedding and the hosts were very unreasonable. We had about 40 family members travelling from out of country by car - after a ten hour ride we wanted to just checkin and relax. The property was not empathetic at all to our long journey and refused to let us in early without paying a fee. We asked to come in even just 30 minutes earlier and they said there is a fee. Additionally there were times we wanted some family members to join us for dinner or a quick hangout and the property again was too strict and refused even our parents coming for a quick visit. Overall property/host is very transactional, the other Airbnb our parents were staying at was very accommodating. Property itself - the upstairs is boiling hot and the thermostat would allow me to change it but it would not actually cool the place down, the bathroom had no lock, the front door had an unnecessarily complicated lock that made us feel unsafe.”

“We only stayed one night but it was a pleasant stay. We did find ants all over the kitchen counter which we told management about once we checked out… a bit bummed we never heard back from them, so hopefully the issue was resolved!”

“This rental was a good value and served our needs, but felt cheaper and lower-rent than expected. The neighbors made us feel slightly uncomfortable, the house smelled weird and had stains/ things peeling, the second bedroom mattress was awful, and the home was not well stocked with basic items. The host was also unresponsive to our message. I received many automated messages, but I didn't get a human response to my question about the WiFi password. Given the lack of an in-home information binder and the check-in email giving us a random website for the WiFi password (a website that was thoroughly investigated), we never figured it out over the course of our four-night stay. Overall, for the price, this was fine, but I would not recommend this property. The pictures make it look FAR nicer than it actually is inside.”

“Our experience with this host was very poor from start to finish. The most disturbing part was how often he was surveilling us via property cameras. He told me he watched my dog go to the bathroom “over and over again” and was convinced he had seen us every time we went in and out of the house. He also controls the temperature via remote access and then gaslit me about it. He spoke down to me and my husband, yelled at me, was rude to the workers fixing up another part of his property, and bragged about owning dozens of properties in the area. He also threatened to enter the space we were renting without warning. Trust me, staying with this host is not worth the headaches.”

“This was a nice home. There was plenty of room for everyone. We bought groceries and cooked several meals. The neighborhood was quiet and the set up was comfortable and spacious. The few negatives are that the patio screen is ripped. Some windows have no screens. This, I assume, contributed to the few roaches and bugs we found. The grill was not functional. The shower curtains were too long, causing them to get soaked and never dry up. They eventually began to give off a mildewy smell.”

“Worst Airbnb experience I’ve had. The listing was not as described unreliable WiFi (I missed a full day of remote work), missing amenities, lack of privacy, and mouse traps in the unit. The most concerning part was the host’s behavior. He came to the property and watched us creeply through the glass front door without knocking or ringing the bell. As two women, this felt extremely intrusive and unsafe. There was also only one way in and out, so in that moment it felt like we had no clear way to exit. Airbnb support had already advised the host not to come due to his behavior, yet he still showed up. The host was argumentative and dismissive. I followed all instructions to resolve the issues, but nothing improved. Airbnb support was also disappointing.I provided photo evidence and spent an entire day trying to resolve this, but felt like the host’s claims were prioritized over my safety and experience. I would strongly caution others before booking this property.”
